dhewer
Hey Line 6 and other users..... My computer is a MacBook Pro. I have the POD HD 500x....(awesome by the way.....loving it all the time I create a new tone - so easy) However, when I upload a tone to CustomTone, I cannot ADD any notes, or anything. Just the tone goes up. Is it me? What am I missing? In looking at the recent tones up on the site, there are no notes? (select expanded view and click on date to resort to the most recent) Is it safari? I have tried Google Chrome, Firefox.....same thing. Nothing, nada, Zipppp.... So I believe its the site. Can someone shed any light? Oh and please Line 6 support, DO NOT suggest I use a Windows based explorer..... Please....that would be pretty lame......get your Web developers to fix this for ALL platforms.....unless I am wrong? thanks D
alienux
I've never been able to add comments or anything after uploading tones, regardless of what browser or platform I use. I only have the option to delete. It's been that way for some time. There have been a few threads about this where a few people said they could add comments, but it still isn't working for many people. I opened a ticket with Line6 support awhile back and they said that they are aware of the issue and were having it looked at, but it's been several months with no change. dhewer
Ah Man!!! That is a bummer. Oh well. What can you do. I would definitely post more tones, but without the ability of adding some verbose to the tone, explanations of the effects used and why....what is the point? Come on Line 6.....are you not paying your web developers enough money yet....lets go....add this to the LINE 6 Ideas site maybe? And the Line 6 Ideas site is a crock..... How many ideas actually come to fruition.... Too bad. Too bad. Shame on you Line 6.... D

jorgeharada
As of today, this issue has not been resolved - tried uploading a tone, but I only have the option to upload or delete.

Dshow
Relax guys, I upload on Idea Scale to fix this one bout a year ago... Guess what happen... B) There are lots of requests about costumtone on IdeaScale but they are just ignored. I made myself a request for some changes including the choose of the pickup type. Regarding comemnting an uploaded tone I'm able doing it but not soon after uploading it. Once uploaded the tone I have to go to "My tones" then click on the name of the tone I'd like to add a comment. In the detail view of the tone move over the comment field and it is highlighted. When clicking in the highlighted field you can insert a comment. That works for me.
arislaf
Interesting. I can write notes at my HD500 patches, but not at my POD HD (desktop)...
