clay-man
Can POD Farm do all the features the X3 can, at least soundwise?
TheRealZap
Yes pod farm 1.x is pretty much x3 in software. 2.x removes the x3 limitations.
silverhead
Yes, and more. Pod Farm 2 has routing options that are not available in the X3. IIRC they have to do with optional placement of some FX relative to each other when they are PRE or POST amp. There may also be options permitting multiple instances of the same FX. It's been a while and my memory may be faulty on the specifics but I know there are more routing options in Pod Farm.
phil_m
You can have up to 10 effects in each tone in a POD Farm preset, and they can be in any order with multiple instances of the same effect. The POD Farm routing options are actually kind of more similar to the HD, but the models are the same as the X3.
clay-man
Basically I have an X3 then, I can just use my HD500 as a midi controller and do the same stuff.
