upgrade advice what to buy

I travel a lot, cant practise with amp so only headphones

Have blue strat, standard pickups, maple neck and back home same in black with rosewood

 

NO 25 db boost in guitar

 

Please dont laugh but want to try and get sounds as per Clapton BAD LOVE /Chronicles, and Lang, Guy, Cray

 

Because of travels I have never taken with me or used my POD VER 1 and legacy floorboard     http://uk.line6.com/legacy/floorboard

 

so these remain in a cupboard at home and of course technology has moved on with rave reviews for the new LINE 6 board

 

can you please give me advice

 

What would you buy  to emulate the sounds I want .....;going only into headphones

ie trying to get the 25DB boost, 

 

IF I was going into an amp I would use a wah dunlop, tube screamer9, and MF BOOST but I am told these work best if going into an amp

OR

Do I use Line 6 PC interface and JUST PC software

but then what do I use for wah pedal?   I Can t use my legacy longboard

I think the Line 6 Sonic Port VX along with Pod Farm will give you a very portable and good sounding solution for Windows/Mac. If you have an iOS device then Sonic Port VX alone is an extremely portable setup because it works with iOS and includes the Mobile Pod app. All you need is the Sonic Port VX interface and a iPad or iPhone.

I use an M-Audio fast track USB Guitar/Mic recording interface with Pod Farm on my PC. I just plug into the M-Audio with my guitar and listen with headphones through the same thing. Or I can hook it up to a stereo via RCA jacks and, of course, the headphone mini plug output. I can also then play along with any media on my computer. Do you get access to Pod Farm with the Legacy footboard?
