  1. Cannot resist taking a whack at the proverbial dead horse. Just thought it might be useful to mention I have the latest version running on 2 Big Sur iMacs, but on a Win 10 Laptop and another Win 10 Desktop, I'm getting this "You're logged in and authorized, but you ain't fitna launch this plug-in to test or record in Cakewalk. So just hang that idea up. Besides, why you lowering your standards and lolly-gaggin' with inferior PCs anyway? We thought you were all about the Mac?" Haha! I'm teasin'! But getting back to real talk...the issue OP is highlighting regarding the Line 6 devices page misidentifying the OS? I had that same issue on the Desktop Win 10 machine. It was showing as Win 8? I deauthorized and reauthorized and now it's showing Win 10 correctly, but both Win 10 machines still jammed up at the same screen shown in the screen shot provided by OP. Oh, btw, both PCs have SSDs. —FYI Line 6 was the first of any company to implement poly pitch in a multi-effects unit...so broken PCs or spit right in my face, I don't care one bit...slap me, knock a tooth out, I don't care. Line 6 is my daddy! You'll get this figured out soon enough. Meanwhile, I only have ears for you! You're doing great so don't let anybody make you feel unappreciated...they love you just like I do! Them expectations get way on up there pretty quick, huh? 3 syllables...Po-ly-Pitch!!! Line 6 is daddy and we know this! Haha, y'all take care and enjoy...
  2. Anyone have any luck with BlueStacks/FireHawk FX remote app on Mac? The Mac is showing the device is connected, but the app doesn't sync with the device. The app prompts me to "turn on Bluetooth", aye aye aye... (screenshot attached)
  3. Try "The Ring Thing" by Electro-Harmonix. Best pitch shift around and it allows you 9 presets. (Link below) I would like to note that I had a DigiTech Legend II in the late 90's by which I have recorded proof performed polyphonic pitch shift just as well as the DigiTech Whammy or Drop pedal. It was single DISC and used a standard cord and plug...no transformer or anything. I traded "up" for the DigiTech 20120 Artist for "seamless patch changing". Since then, nothing on the market anywhere has been able to accomplish polyphonic pitch shift. Kinda like supposedly landing on the moon, but now with all of the technological advancements, we either can't, or won't achieve the same results. I have a hard time with that, gentlemen. It pisses me off, actually. Completely unacceptable. I should be able to press one button and my tuning AND my tone change instantly. For the money we paid? Are you kidding me? Legend II, boys! If you see one in a pawn shop somewhere, try it. "Pitch Shift/Whammy" - (2nd Below) - Voilà! https://www.musiciansfriend.com/amplifiers-effects/electro-harmonix-ring-thing-modulator-guitar-effects-pedal
  4. Exactly. Does it seem to you that when changing from a clean tone to a distortion, it sort of fades in? It doesn't punch in like you'd expect, but rather it crossfades.
  5. You make a good point "bond19". I really can't believe how good the Firehawk sounds. I have been using DigiTech for 20 years and the Firehawk is my first venture outside the relationship. I'm pleasantly surprised and I think Line 6 will address these minor issues and yield a great product after a few more updates. Thank you both for the feedback.
  6. The 1.1 update doesn't seem to have addressed the audible noise I get when switching from a distortion tone to a clean tone. If I play and hold a chord/note on the distortion preset and switch to the clean, it sounds as if a new note is being played instead of a smooth transition where only the decay of the previous note is heard. It sounds fine if I toggle my distortion effect on/off within a preset...kinda limits diversity though. I have to press two buttons at the same time to go from distortion to clean w/chorus. Anyone else experiencing this?

  8. Thanks for the reply! In the late 90's, I had a DigiTech Legend II which, using the Whammy effect, delivered great polyphonic pitch-shifting. I mainly used the "2nd Down" setting. Every other DigiTech product since (including the 2120 Artist & RP1000), have sounded pretty much like Line 6 "Bender". Currently, I am using "The Ring Thing" by Electro-Harmonix which works beautifully, but it is an extra pedal to have to hook up and introduces limitations as far as being able to change Firehawk presets and pitch in a single stomp. I believe Electro-Harmonix has now released a new product called "Pitch Fork" that has polyphonic pitch-shifting with really fast tracking to handle chords. Like I said, I would gladly pay if Line 6 were to offer something like this for download.
  9. What are the chances of getting a polyphonic pitch-shifting effect? Has Line 6 made effects available for download/purchase on the POD HD500/HD X? "Bender" and "Smart Harmony" are great for single notes, but sound horrible when I play chords. Am I the only guitarist that needs a multi-effects processor that can be used for drop tuning? Right now I have to use "The Ring Thing" by Electro-Harmonix to change my tuning, but it would be SOOO nice if the Firehawk could be updated to accomodate this request. I will buy it if they will make it available! ...otherwise, the Firehawk sounds great!
