  1. just following the process. I downloaded the update Helix Edit, made backup, started initializing and now it's still doing it.
  2. Trying to update but my Helix is stuck initializing for an hour. I did make a backup but what should I do now?
  3. Thanks guys good advice it's actually minor; it's just on the tip of the headstock. it happen while transporting it...of course.
  4. headstock cracked. I contacted my tech to patch it but it won't look the same. does Line 6 offer just the neck for purchase. PS- not covered under warranty Thanks
  5. Studio Headphones; trying to record. I think I found the problem; too many drivers installed in my computer. I found that 24 bit @ 48Khz rate works but every time I start it up or make changes to my devices it resets to 16 bit @ 44.1Khz. Maybe it's time for a computer upgrade. Thanks everyone, I appreciate the time!
  6. I'm trying to stop the audio from on USB 1/2 coming from my computer (Ableton, youtube, etc) from crackling. I've matched the sampling rate though it's not recordable standard at the moment.
  7. My computer doesnt have a headroom parameter and lowering the trim on the Helix Global setting doesn't change just makes it quiter. After troubleshooting it it did say the problem was a generic driver. Does the in/out sample rate affect the USB driver? it's default is 48khz but my computer says the default setting for the driver is 44.1Khs, odd
  8. I troubleshot it and it worked only with 24 bit at 48khz. It's still crackling but at a minimum; not passible for recording. at least i know it's not hardware though so thanks
  9. I have crackling on USB audio in or out. I've re-downloaded the driver/editor (windows 10), reset to factory specs; still same. Not sure what else to do but I'm hoping it's not a hardware issue. Now I can change the sample rate; do I have to match these manually for it to work?
