This surprised me. I thought that would be a common feature on any new product , at least in the 1000 dollar price range, and the foot switch for 249 . But the amp still intrigues me :)

Great info and thanks for the correction. I may have to grab one of these soon !

These have been great reviews and comments. Thanks for posting these First I heard of a few things. Cons Headphone mono unless something plugged into XLR XLR input does not offer an XLR output Not streaming backing tracks via Bluetooth Build quality may not be up to heavy road use MIDI for patch change only Pros Sounds great within itself , WDW , and easy to use with Bluetooth Great potential frfr cabinet for modeler Surprised about the Bluetooth backing track integration though. But I am still intrigued by this heavy weight beast of an amp modeler . I still would like to try it out. I hope there may be one somewhere I can try like a Sam ash or a GC ?

I am all for less jumpy. I didn't have an accuracy problem before though. But I just want it less jumpy. Again, this may be affecting only a few of us. ??? But if they can make it less jumpy I will be happy. Can't use it as is, at least with quick results. Lol

I read this before, but unfortunately for me, the jumping is on the main bar is with very little tolerance. Maybe it's just a few units are doing this, but mine is one of them. I loved the tuner before the update. Bright and stableI own a kemper and they gave the customer the option to have either or for the tuner. I hope they sort it, I really loved the tuner for it was so easy to see. Don't mean to sound unappreciative :) This is more than just ignoring the top. I am wondering if there is a way to correct this behaviour if only a minority of units are behaving like this. Honestly, have zero complaints with the helix. I think this is my first one :)

I loved the tuner pre 2.0 ? Or was it 2.01 that changed it. Can't remember It was stable , and did not jump around. It seems and sounded accurate to me. Now , it just is a pain. Jumps all over. Maybe they can give the option of both types in the next firmware. I love the big bright tuner screen, but these notes hoping all over the place is crazy.

This sounds like a great tool. I have read about mixIR and hadn't thought about this method. Thanks for the tip. !!!

Let me say that I had originally developed the squaky pedal issue. I backed out my hex to make it loose and it wouldn't go back in. I fiddled with it until it did get re aligned, but it was then experiencing what you are describing. It was rubbing a little on the left and it was not seated properly ... Ok, so I opened the back up. I should of taken a picture of the nut / bolt system they use where the the hex bolt goes thru, and apparently this can slip out. At least if it was possibly faulty to begin with. My suggestion is not to mess with it. And it to get fixed by an authorized agent or line 6 , or exchange it. I managed to get it completely aligned, however I am on occasion having issues with volume values etc. Frank Ritchotte told me no problem and send it in and will fix it within a week I would have it back, which by the way , he was going to do flips to make this happen quickly and I appreciate his fast response and great customer service !!!!! I was about to do that, but my retailer told me they wanted to ship me a brand new one since it was only a few days old and the pedal was giving me problems before I opened the back. They are out of stock and told me to hold on to my helix until they get more in, which is super cool with me as well. Sweetwater is also trying to do whatever it takes to make me happy and solve the issue. And they said no issue if it passes the thirty day marked and already documented it and sent me a shipping label. They will ship me a new one before they get this one back. Very happy with them and they will be getting my business for my next purchases which is an amp and new guitar that was going to go to another retailer... So thank you sweetwater as well as line 6 ! Sorry for the long answer, lol... But I wouldn't open the back and mess with it as you may or may not be able to line things up properly.

Thanks gents ! Apparently, the default setting on some of those patches I made with IR's , The IR assignment was on toe switch.. I just changed it and everything is working fine ! Not sure how those IRs were defaulting to toe switch, but when I have a few minutes I will make some more just to see if in fact it is defaulting to that. Anyway, easy fix. Thanks for the suggestions and help !!!

Anyone experiencing this ? It doesnt happen unless I have an Imported IR and not always happening, not sure if its certain paths, have to check more, but curios if this is a bug or unique to my device

No, the hex adjustment is done without removing anything. You should of received a large hex wrench , and you adjust without opening anything .... My issue was that I apparently backed out the hex and somehow it wouldn't go back in Frank R was very accommodating and told me I could ship it back to line 6 to get fixed and will only take a week. I actually got the nut back in and used a little white grease (lithium ) in a can the stays like WD 40 ( BUT DONT USE WD40) Anyway, all good so far, just a word of caution that if you spray it, it will get on some of the printed circuit board, so some of these guys took the back off, and applied a light coating by hand , that's much better and safer I think than what I did.

I made a few killer patches , but then decided to add a wah after I had stored and saved my ownhammer IR . When I went to use the wah, it was turning off my IR block and Volume at the same time. I checked to make sure there were no controllers accidently assigned to the IR block... Can't figure out why it's doing that ? Is it possibly too much DSP ? Is it a bug ? St happening in a few of the new patches I just made

I backed the tension with the supplied Alan wrench , used a couple of blasts of white grease ( lithium ) and squeaking is gone. However , backed out the bolt too much and pedal was not realigning properly. I am not sure if this is designed this way, but I would think there would be a stop nut , to prevent this. I have back in, but it's not quite right . The pedal works fine, but it rubs a little against the helix frame Sweetwater will send me a brand new helix, but I found a service center 10 minutes away. The guy told me thinks it can be fixed in a few minutes while I wait, which I appreciate both sweet waters quick offer to resolve this and the service center willing to fix while I wait. It seems like the nut / bolt is a simple issue ( I hope) . I really don't want a new helix as this ones tubes are broken in ðŸ˜

Just was on the gear page asking about this very issue. Glad to see there is an easy fix. I just have to go out and get the right lube. Not sure if. Have anything in the house that will be good for this. Thanks for posting this !
