If you just have one amplfi amp run headphone out to aux on the back, I use 2 150 amplfi so I go 1/4 to 1/8 don't plug in the front. Sound good to me

Run into the back you will need 1/4 to 1/8 , if you just have one amplfi 30 maybe headphone out to the aux in, I am using 2 amplfi 150 sounds good to me

Just seem strange that anyone would bother doing midi if the fx return is the same.

i think i am missing some thing why would many do the midi no cab/amp why midi? if its the same thing

i have read alot about using this set up with good results, as we wait for some kind of integration, It seems to be, turn off the pre amp and cab in the dt using midi. or my question could you not just plug into the fx return or thr line 6 link? for the same results? not sure why you would have to midi any thing is there a advantage doing this? thanks

i am using amplfi 150 in the back aux sounds good they come in 3 different sizes , i have 2 of them but you can run in stereo with one, using all 5 speakers. line 6 has discounted and maybe discontinued making them. they sound good listing to music too . wife likes the look of them ,

I am going to use 2 amplfi 150, plug in to the back, and 2 Dt 25, have not hooked up yet but have the gear, any thoughts on this set up

Amplfi will have nothing to do with a modeler going into the back will bypass every thing and just use the power section and the 5 speakers, regardless I own 2 of them now, and am will use them for my acoustic sounds, and 2 Dt if25 for the electric sound. Maybe all for at the same time, if my helix ever arrives,

I have one and buddy is given my one aux in I hope will give a good tone can't see why I won't. If my Helix ever gets here

I just want to use the speakers it's full range going in the back of amplfi just like a power speaker

I have not got my hands on Helix yet north Canada takes forever to get here. I have one amplfi 150 and am think about buying another one for when Helix arrives. Going into the aux or into the front with every thing turned off. Do you think this is a good idea . I am not a rockstar and just jam with buddy's. Thanks

Well that's fantastic to hear but you didn't explain how this is accomplished could you maybe post your patch or explain how to route different out to different amps. Also when you plug into your DT 25 do you have all topologies shut off or does the Line 6 link act as it affects return Thanks

So what you are saying I can use the Line 6 link to the DT 25 amp and the quarter inch out to the studio monitors and toggle between them that would be awesome if it works really looking forward to getting my helix thanks for the reply

So i am waiting to pick up this beast and have looked all over online for a set up i think you can do but not sure now, and am not the sharpest tool in the shed any help would be great. i want to use my JTV to have acoustic go to studio monitors or power speaker and my heavy electric sound go to my DT 25 or other amp. i am thinking the 1/4 outs to the DT and maybe a effect loop out on Helix to the monitors and be able to switch between them or use them together. or should i just use full range speakers or just the dt 25 thanks

Well I unregistered the pod selling it with the modle pack. Going to buy the podx and hope I can download the pack into it. I hope this works for both of us
