Gsp= guitar player syndrome

Don't get me wrong I love the pod its very good, the zack wydle wah it much better then any wah on the pod and I can use the expression pedal for other things, adding a volume pedal is a no brainer, and no fx loop, all this save over 20 dsp and works better, sounds better. And yes I do have gas for some years know way to many guitars and amps etc, I am wait of the new pod to come out I am think 2015, so I will do what ever sounds the best, the blackstar pedals are great, but if I do this it will be hard to do duel amp because both amp will have the same distortion, so I don't think it will work, I think what I have done is enough, just away looking for something better then gsp yes I have it bad

so I did not want to buy the pod x for 20% more dsp and a fancy foot switch, most times I don't need extra dsp but some times, any way I bought a zack wydle wah and I must say this wah kick lollipop on the pod wahs, now I want to add one more pedal, any suggestions, I don't run the 4 cable method, and have some great tones, I was thinking a eq pedal but I have look a pro set ups and none of them have a eq Maybe because the have a sound man? Should I get a eq to put out front of the pod? Or what about a distortion pedal black star has some good ones, a volume pedal I will get that's a easy pick and there you have it I am saving more then 20 % dsp and will be the first in line when your line 6 or yamaha come out with I new model I am guessing in 2015; so any suggestions on what pedal to put out front thank your taking the time to read, rock on

lets try that again , yes the pod 500 will power up , on the screen it says line 6, it wont sync with computer, usb not recolonized, i have tried new usb cord and port , no luck. the monkey says driver outdated but can donwload it it says pod hd500 not connected no sound , what is going on and how to fix it?

yes pow is om with a line screen , pod wont load i hear no sound , tried usb, triedto down load drive its say to, but it wont recognize the pod , i dont get it was working fine for 2 years???

hi i am a pod user for 2 years with no problems , i love the unit ,, all of a sudden the 500 crashes and wont load again , i have tried the monkey update , wont in stall, says my pod is not connected , try anther usb port still nothing, my baby is down and out , please guitar god send some help...

Try one amp clean with a comp and other high gain dial in the tone and vol

So the compression would be the blue or red comp? Do you think you could send me some patch? I really like the sound of this would it be call wet dry? Thanks

I sold it ire was to much, but I will say I made a decovery I think you call it wet and dry, wow so a totaly crisp clean amp and a super high gain amp and,find the right mix and the sound kicks lollipop, I will try to do it with one pod,

I think this is going to kick some lollipop if my brain dose not explode !!!

I can't wait to try this I am lucky I have a godin xtsa with 2 out puts and parker nightfly with stereo outs, not sure what you talking about running in to the fx loops, but thanks guys this should be fun a bit over kill maybe, Also when I run 2 pods will I have to install for both and use to edit pages or will one work, not sure how this is going to work my amps are black star ht 5 ; Taylor k1 keyboard amp and a set 4 of krk 10, lol wish I had this when I was 18,,,

been a pod owner for 1 year love it, now I have pick a other one up in a trade, so my question is sell it or use both at the same time, I have not read anything on this subject. I am thinking a super clean with lots of eq, then a mean over drive distortion , maybe 2 wah, or vol and wah, just trowin it out there to anyone who might have a coment thanks and merry xmas

HI i have been using pod for one year , have used the tuner many times , it will not cut out when turned on, it used to drop the audio when tuning , and i used it for a kill switch to.. now the sound is leaking into my 2 amps and interface when tuning , i have looked for this topic and cant find anything , and need to fix this before my next jig , thanks

I have finally have some great tones with the pod 500, I want I add a zakk wylde wha into the chain, I was thinking guitar Wah pod, now I know with the pods Wah the sound changes big time when you add a Wah and I have the ability to turn it on and off, what will happen if I add a Wah this way, anyone have a Wah with the pod? This will free up dsp and it is a better Wah then what the pod has to offer, and I can use the expression pedal on the pod for a volume pedal, any help would be great thanks and keep rocking inthe free world

Well they sound good to me, I am pulling patch off line and twicking them seam to work just fine, going to addition for a band this week end, hope it works out when I crank it up, will be strange not having my computer inter face to work with I think line 6 do a great job with it, I don't even know how to use the pod for patches

What do you mean direct studio ? Not amp play back? I have not used them yet when I get home, if you don't mind could you send me what a good heavy patch should look like, I tell ya just when you think you got it something else comes up, btw my 2 xlr are into my interface and can power 4 studio monitors and a sub, is this what studio direct is for? I find when I have every thing going its just to much wall of sound,

Ok will no spliter, just a simple 2 1/4 outs in to the front of black star and a k1, killer sound so happy, I found out adding effects till the dos runs out was not working so I kept it simple and adding a ping pong and got nice stereo, what other effects can I add that will work this way, also down loaded some 5 star tones from moboo I read he has the best tone, I didn't try them let but looking at them there is no effect loop and the set up is total different then what I came up with, so the 4 cable method dose not seem worth it,..
