I'm trying to upgrade the updater but it won't open in my Mac. I get this when I try. “Line 6 Updater.pkg” can’t be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software. This software needs to be updated. Contact the developer for more information. I've been trying to update my Variax's for months and I was told to wait for the new upgrade that would be compatible with my Mac. I'm always having this trouble and it's giving me the lollipops. Get it together. This item is on the disk image “Line 6 Updater 1.19.dmg”. Safari downloaded this disk image today at 3:42 pm from line6.com.

Ok. So I now have the correct cable. Cat 5, plugged into Variax USB but Monkey isn't detecting my guitar. The battery is fully charged. My guitar is sounding wrong because there's an octave below bleeding through so I need to update the software. Any attempt so far has failed and it's not good enough. It shouldn't be this hard.

I've looked at all the suggestions and I keep trying but I keep getting the same code 80009000. Upgrading was easy with the old models. I might have to take it to a repairer to get it done. They seem to have no problems doing it for some reason.

It's also not working with work bench.

I'm getting the same message time and again and it's pretty frustrating. I just bought a Helix Lt, my variax is connected through that. That should work shouldn't it?

I'm having the same problem. The difference is I did all the updates through monkey. I have a podhd500. I don't have the 500X

I'm having a real issue trying to set my podhd500 so that it remembers the settings I program into it that relate to the model guitar and tuning I want to use. I save the settings I want, go to a new patch then come back and none of the guitar related settings are stored. I've tried everything

I bought a JTV59p and set it up with 13 to 56 so it would feel more acoustic. The necks just right. I use D'addario J22's. It horrified the guy setting it up but i love it. It's great of slide playing and I have no trouble bending the notes. If you really want your guitar to sound acoustic and feel acoustic this is as close as you'll get.

I'm finding it impossible to upgrade my JTV59P even though I'm doing everything right. Everything's connected properly through the appropriate boxes and it just doesn't want to do it. It scrubs everything and i have to go back to V1.71. Is it the Mac?
