  1. @JLondon Thanks for the reply. I wondered the same thing and tried to import the IRs for the Allure pack that were provided for the Helix thinking that those would surely import but had the same error. I'll take a look later this evening to check whether I can import other IRs.
  2. I know there's a lot going on right now with the new new Helix firmware but has anyone confirmed whether this is a bug not being able to import IRs to the PowerCab Plus? Would just like to know if it's a problem specific to my setup or a general defect. I used the same setup to update the Helix and was able to get through that process. Thanks
  3. I'm having the same problem. I have two PowerCab Plus's and did the update without issue, upgraded my PowerCab Edit software but now can't load IR's into either unit. I downloaded the manual to make sure I'm not doing something wrong, but still no luck. I tried to load the Allure IR's just to make sure that wasn't the problem and those also fail to load. The IR's are the same ones I have loaded in my Helix. This is the error message I see:

  5. I had a few issues updating, but after getting stuck, I reinstalled the HX Edit 2.80 software and restarted and everything was good. The issue I'm having right now is trying to restore a setlist. For one of them, it's somehow corrupted the setlist and when I try to load it, it throws an error in HX Edit.
  6. Picked up the new HX Effects pedal to use with my amps being more portable than the Helix floor unit. After creating a couple new presets, saving and rebooting 2 or 3 times, the unit fails to boot and is stuck at the screen that displays the firmware version. I've recreated the situation 3 times now and have opened a support ticket. While not detailed in the manual, I found that holding down the two lower right switches and rebooting does a factory reset which gets it "unbricked" again. Looks like a serious defect in the shipped 2.40 firmware or possibly I received a defective unit. It's not possible to update to 2.50 yet as the 1.12 updater does not have the necessary drivers for Windows nor is the 2.50 firmware available yet.
  7. Thanks for the reply jsiegel2015. I've had my Helix for probably a couple months now and this is the first time I've ever had this kind of problem. I updated the firmware when it was first released so it seems odd that I would all of the sudden start seeing a problem if it was firmware related. I guess I have no choice but to see if it continues and figure out a course of action at that point but it's concerning like you said not knowing if/when it might lose sound.
  8. I had an unusual problem last night at rehearsal that I've never seen before and wondering if anyone else has seen this. I'm running firmware 1.04.1 and while playing my sound just cut out. Everything appeared to be working correctly even the tuner but no output to the mono XLR. I had no choice but to reboot it then it was fine for awhile. This happened about 5 or 6 times after which it seemed fine. Has anyone else seen this? I'm concerned now about this happening during a gig. I wasn't changing anything in my preset when this occurred.
  9. I'm having an issue with the Helix locking up when I change setlists. When this happens, everything shows up but the unit doesn't respond to anything and is not recognized through USB. The only way I can find to fix it is to reset the unit thereby losing all my patches. When I power it off and back on, none of the displays show anything, just all blank. It sounds like others have reported this or a similar issue so hopefully they'll be able to find a fix for it soon.
