I'm having similar problems, i've had the amp for about two weeks now. I'm using amplifi remote version 2.0 on iOS 7.1.2 it's becoming a bit of a pain :0(

Is there any more news on the remote app being updated? My amplifi 150 arrived about three weeks ago & i'm becoming sooooooooo frustrated with the app crashing, freezing, dropping the bluetooth connection. I've taken the amp to rehearsal several times and not able to use it the way I should be able to. I'm using an iPhone 4 and iPad 2 same happens with both devices. When everything works it's great and gets me playing guitar more at home between gigs.
