When I see the monitor mixes that the backup singers have done for themselves it's really... Really scary!!!! LOL!!!

Hello does anyone know if there is a way to lock out the main mix from iPad users? We've now got 4 iPad users all of them not so good with gadgets .... mixing their own monitors I'm thinking there's an "oops I thought I was mixing my monitors, not the mains!" In my future! Anyone??

Yeah Rick, it's convenient that Everyone (except the drummer) can play music from their phones via airplay feature so it's great for rehearsals where you want to play a tune for the band to show them a musical idea. Also everyone (except the drummer) gets to mix their own monitors on their own iPad!! It's CRAZY!!! Only one rehearsal so far but everyone came out smiling !

YES!!! YES!!! YES!!!! This is really worth it! I talked with Tech support after trying several adaptors and reading many forum posts. some of the older posts sent me off in several directions but now Its crystal clear: The ONLY way to go is with the apple gear...as mentioned above!! After-all we can afford a $1600.00 Mixer right? whats $145.00 in parts so we can connect our $500.00 iPad ... small price to pay for ZERO connection related stresses at the gig. Another thought: If you have the cash go out and buy two more ethernet adaptors .... its safe to say they won't be around forever!

Just a sincere thank you to tech support for the great and speedy service! Called in and left a message, was called back within about 30 min. Technical advisor was friendly and courteous AND solved the issue for me quickly.. also gave a few extra useful tips! Tech support number was very easy to find. Many thanks!

I Tried 7 different types of dongles none of which work. SOLUTION: Then called tech support left a message and got a call back in 15-30 min. was instructed to use the following: 1, Apple USB ethernet Adaptor $29.00 1, Short Cat 5e ethernet cable ($5.00 IF YOU MAKE IT YOURSELF 15.00 IF YOU BUY ALREADY MADE) 1, Apple airport Express $99.00 - Follow instructions, if you can operate the M20d you can setup an airport express. This Works Great!! Awesome range even through walls and downstairs with the A. P. E. module buried in behind the mixer and all kinds of cables. Tech support experience was outstanding!!

Hey Line 6!!! Why don't you help us out here!!?!?!?!?!?! Find a Dongle that works every time then approach the manufacturer as an OEM and Put the Line 6 LOGO on it Then include it with the mixer .....!!! Fancy that It seems obvious doesn't it?

Just talked to a fellow owner here in town: He says he "got lucky one time" after rebooting several times the PC connection worked but 3 second playback latency so he abandoned the idea and went to audio cable

Thanks Rick, After a good nights sleep I'm back at it . The Laptop icon defaults to inputs 17/18 and shows in the UI that its using the "AUX IN" but I have nothing plugged into "AUX IN", rather I am trying to use the input Labelled "PC" However there is no input in the UI Labelled "PC". Its a little confusing because my mac shows the mixer as a valid audio output device?? Could it be that Line 6 is confusing "USB Streaming" with A computer's analogue "Stereo Output" jack? because that method certainly works.

So Are you saying that the mixer cannot accept music streaming via the PC Connection?

Hello! I just bought the board and am mostly happy so far.... Little issue though... I can't seem to get audio from my iMac to stream to the mixer. No sign of any level meters responding to the stream. So far have tried the following: - Installed appropriate latest drivers for Mac - Updated the M20d's firmware. - In "Setup" mode, selected Laptop Icon and it shows inputs 17/18 as support literature states. - Adjusted associated faders and mains. - Connected the supplied USB cable between mixer and computer - Selected the StageScape M20d as the audio output device in preferences. - Verified the music is playing and it will play fine on my other interface (Presonus Firestudio Tube). Any Ideas ? Ba88ist

Same problem here except that My input menu in "Setup" Mode shows no USB OR PC Input????
