  1. Wow, that was simple. Don't know how I missed it. Thanks guys! You just made me happy!
  2. I just noticed that I have many versions of the 'same' preset on my handheld. They aren't actually the same, in that some parameters are different in each, but the software allowed me to save them with the same name, and NOT override the previously existing preset. How can I delete them and start over, so I can make certain I only have one per name?
  3. I've had mine for several months now, and while there are some flaws with it, I like it. It has a b-r-o-a-d range of amps and effects, and that's cool. The foot switch doesn't change presets anywhere near fast enough, but I've learned to compensate. For what it does, at the price it cost, I'm happy. Not ecstatic. Happy. Dave in Hudson, FL
  4. well, that probably won't happen. If I had known of this behavior before purchase, I would not have bought it. Now that I have, I'll have to learn to adapt to it.... Nothing like a challenge! :)
  5. Well. I'll just have to train myself to switch right before I need to. I should kick myself. I had an intuition that it might switch slow, and tried to find out a few times about delay time, but never followed up on it. I still like it, just don't like that one 'feature'.
  6. I'm hoping it is the kind of problem that is software fixable, so a future upgrade can resolve the problem, once Line 6 is made aware of it (as if no one ever noticed). Maybe that's why people have said it's a great practice amp, but not perfect for gigging.
  7. I was thinking about trying something like that. It's the way I used to always work, have 1 amp sound, then turn effects on and off. So you're hypothesizing that if we keep the amp the same across the pedal board bank, the loading should be much quicker. I'll have to try that.
  8. Is there any way to speed up the delay changing channels? The only amps I've ever had with foot pedals to change the channel were a Randall Switchmaster 120, and an ART DST-825. The Randall was only changing between channel 1 and 2, no effects involved, and that was instantaneous. The ART has 24 bit digital effects built in, but that too was instantaneous. The Amplifi 150 and FBV Shortboard MKII Foot Controller are slow. It seems like it is taking a solid second, or longer, to go from 1 preset to the next when I step on a peddle. I'm used to being able to hit a note or chord, tap a pedal, and on the next note I'm in my new sound. With the 150 and controller, I hit a note, tap a pedal, and in a second or so the new sound loads and plays. This is a huge adjustment, so I'm hoping there is some way to tweak this to be quicker. Thanks, Dave in Hudson, FL
  9. So somewhere a programmer has encoded a binary blob that contains the data that is placed into the amp as presets? There must still be a list somewhere of what the settings are. But not for general publication I guess. Bummer.
  10. Not a problem at all, thanks for responding. I like the factory patches, I'd just like a definition of them so I don't have to do it...
  11. Thanks, I appreciate the links, but that is exactly NOT what I am looking for. The amplifipresets list (your second link) is to me, the top level of what I am looking for. What I want is a document that takes the amplifi preset list as a starting point, and expands upon each preset to tell 1. what gate 2. what wah 3. what stomp 4. what amp/cab 5. what comp 6. what eq 7. what vol 8. what delay 9. what reverb and then drill down farther to show all the parameters for each of the above. That way I can tell how they got the sounds they got, without having to load the preset into the editor and then writing it all down. There must be a list like that, as they load the presets from some specification. Worst case scenario, I will have to sit down with the amp and my tablet, and start taking notes.... Dave
  12. Is there a list anywhere that breaks down the preloaded factory presets? Which amp, which effects, etc? Sure, I can load the preset, view the parameters, and figure it out, but I'd like to see all them at one time, and pick and choose in my brain before I start to adjust with my amp. Anyone know of the location of such a list? Dave in Hudson, FL
