No answer ? lollipop the problem is stil on his way since more than 1 months ?

Hi all (Everything is up to date with the Monkey) This often happens : When i works on Cubase 8.010 (Artist), a message appear saying that the drivers is not found for the HD500X ... this can happen at any moment as much when i start Cubase or when i'm already in Cubase. So i switch to my UR22 or my Presonus device while waiting ... (when necessary) In device Manager the drivers are there also when take a look on monkey everything seems to be ok , but it's not the case ! I do not like that ! I can't remember if this is happen with my standelone plugins , maybe ! Ok the Vintage Pack seems to be the way ... but it's strange that the HD500X do not have a real preset for mic in it when you already have a XLR micro (in) connexion ! Thank you very useful information here...

Hi all I have the HD500x that i use mostly for my guitar ... The Vocals passes by mu UR22 Steinberg, but i want to use the HD500X also for my voice now. But the the POD do not has a clean preset to get my voice without any effect ... even in the list BASS/ACO/VOC the presets seems not to be good ... i need to bypass the effect of the POD ! Please help me ! Thank you (the UR22 is good for this because it do not any preset or effect)

Hi How to get GUITAR feedback with the HD500X without put the volume HIGH !? ... just need feedback in a quiet ambience room ! Is this possible ? yes it have a buzz (strange ringing ) when i play without be connected ! it's from the last fret near the neck (i think) ... thing who was not there with the original string D'Addario EXL110 ! Every preset from HD500X who have a bright sounds have the buzz string & paired with the spank model IT'S HORRIBLE ! I have to say that i use HD500X with the 69 & on any preset the buzz string (6e (5a a little less ) is there ... honesly If we think about that, Elixir is not in fault but Line Variax ! ... sorry about my words but these words have cost to me more than 1500$ CND. If you can understand that a string is just a string ; you can reduce my reputation to -100! The variax is a good but MAYBE AN unfinished product ... BUT THIS LET OPEN THE DOOR TO THE NEW VARIAX MODEL (A SURPRISE ?) Anyway The world money maker is made like this ;) NOTHING IS ETERNAL WITH THE FLESH !

The JTV69 HSS is a great instrument but surely not a guitar completly ... <_< Now i have to buy all the string in the market to find the best for the Variax ?! ... oh man what i have done :wacko: ! And say that I was torn between the Variax and a standard Gibson ! (I already have a Fender Strat) OK go to for the D'Adario EXL110 (10-46) ...thank you all

The Variax JTV69 came with these strings : D'Addario Nickel Wound Regular Light Gauge EXL110 ( 0,10-0,46) ... & i chose the same Gauge but with Elixir because many have says that Elixir was great with Variax ,but they are wrong ! I need clarification : WHAT IS THE STRINGS THAT CAME WITH THE VARIAX BETWEEN 2013-2014 ? ... & since that the JTV exist how many time they have change the kind of string ? thank you & i return to my toys !

What do you mean by 'BUZZ'' ? I have 3 problem with this JTV69 HSS : #1 - metallic noise from the 5-6 strings (surely the ELixir String too much crispy & clear for the Variax emulator) ... #2 - the alternative tuning selection button make ghost string on the most part of them ... #3- the selection button model has fallen to the floor while I was playing & i cannot fix it on the JTV ... any syggestion ?

Hi ! After reading some comments here, i have chosen Elixir Nanowebs 10-46 strings... But something is horribly wrong with the 6 string (E) & maybe the 5 string also ... a kind of metallic noise ! (PLEASE LISTEN THE ATTACH FILES) There is 3 audio part , but the last one is when i switch to "spank to Lester'' in the model button ... spank seems to be guilty ! DO i have to regret my Elixir purchase & return to D'Addario ? & the accoustic sound is very HORRIBLE ( i will put an audio exemple)... Elixir is surely the problems ! Hi ! I'm i right : the HD500X is like a Guitar Ampli ? If it's the case, i really need a cabinet to plug to my HD500X...it's for my JTV69 & Strat fender ... The goal is to save my Presonus Eris 8 (for recording use)... It's for home studio, i do not need a powefull cabinet. The cabinet will be place between the 2 Eris 8 . Any suggestion will be appreciate ! Now the question is : how to redirect the guitar signal through the cabinet only & for the midi through the Eris 8 (midi signal) ??? I'm dead because i try many time to have micro & guitar signals in different channel to play together without having the same effect FX ... & i have failed I'M DEAD ! Thank you all Daniel

Hi ! Few minutes ago i broked the 4 (D) string of my JTV69 HSS ... now i really do not know which string guitar is the best for it ! I already have a kit of "Erny Balls Slinky Cobalt " 9-42, but it was for my fender strat ... in case ! ... but maybe ??? Any suggestion will be appreciate. I do not want to do a mistake ! I play rock, pop, hard rock ect ... not heavy metal for now ! (even if i have some good fiff) Thank you all

I have try a fast test in Cubase 8 & recording Drop-d & 2 other : & it seems to be ok , but for all other they are out of tune ! But this week-end i will do a recording test & put the video on youtube for all alternate tuning result ! Thanks !

New strings and intonation are required when you purchase any guitar : I understand but am i the only one in this case ? I have 4 guitar (Strat HSS. Ibanez roadstar 1984, Accoustic Yamaha & JTV-69 ... all have a good intonation but not the JTV-69 . Ex: Model =good tune Standard = good tune & the problem begins at Drop d = the 6 string are out of tune (the 5 other are ok) The rest of the alternate tuning are really bad To be sure, this week i spend hours to get a right intonation of all my guitar (even if they do not need it) & JTV-69 can't reach the perfection. I need help because it's for an old project from 1989-1992 that i have restart in 2014-15 ...with very good songs from these days ! Is this possible to tune ALL the ATERNATE TUNING PRESET Variax from the HD500x ? I have try but i do not know how to save the tuning ( anyway i do not know if i have done right this part) Thanks

Hi There is a way to tune the variax JTV-69 ? I try from the tuner of the HD500X but the result is not good ! Another thing is when i use model & standarg tuning everything is fine, but for the rest of the alternate tuning the strings are out of tune & i cannot do a simple guitar chord ! .. is this is normal ? ..I thought that by changing the alternate tuning that the strings (the variax) would stay in tune, but it's not the case ! What i have to do ? Thanks

Yes , i have uninstall the AsioAll yesterday morning & all third party plugins ( even korg m1 plugins which is important for me) , & start a new project in CUbase 8 but everything is the same. This morning i launched Cubase 8 with this new project & again the HD500X driver won't loaded. The message said buffer is too high ... however my latency is ALWAYS set to 512 or higher if the projects become bigger, If I increase it over 512 bytes in the device setup control panel for the interface in cubase the error message says that i have lost my connexion with HD500X but Dropping the latency under 512 results in almost no audio at all but with random clicks and pops ect ... Before i bought the HD500X , i was with the Steinberg UR22 interface that worked good ... My spec : CUBASE 8 FX8350 (8 CORE) ASUS M5A99FX RAM 16 GIGS at 1600 hZ DDR3 RADEON R7 265X 2GIG MEMORY 2x SSD hard disk drive + 2HDD hard disk = 3T LOGICKEYBOARD for CUBASE PRESONUS TUBEpreV2 PRESONUS ERIS 8 LINE 6 HD500X RODE NT1-A NOVATION LAUNCHKEY MIDI KEYBOARD FENDER MUSTANG III V2 FENDER STRAT

I have launched (loaded) a Cubase 7.5 project but through Cubase 8 with the same settings , that is to say : 24 bits 44-48 hhz. & About the I/O , as i say i cannot use the HD500X ... ***But i just notice something more shocking ; it's a strange behavior that when i record audio (guitar) and than i activates the monitor button in Cubase, it's like reverb effect or something like 2 guitar that is heard...there is a delay ! & without the monitor button, the guitar sound is heard in the Eris through the HD500X, but when i activate the button, suddenly it's like a second guitar with more noise & artefact. (there is no effect activated at all on any tracks), If I drop the (fader mixeconsole) cursor down of the track to cut the strange sound, the guitar volume is not enough to be recorded ! I have two presonus Eris 8 speaker plugged to the HD500X. weird ! Is There a volume for the HD500X headphone, because it's problematic with DAW?!

Hi I just wrote to Steinberg because since i bought & install Cubase 8 artist, problems have start to appear ! It was not the case with 7.5 ... So i write to Line 6 also, because i think that Line 6 still haven't functionnal driver for Cubase 8 ! I have start a v7.5 project through v8 with the audio interface ( HD500X ) Line 6. In the line midi/audio device it have : driver format with the sound control panel It's where you select the audio quality ex: 44-48 hz,16/24 bits ect... it constantly says ; inactive ? ... ... & my project return to AsioAll or generic low latency asio ect ... i can't fix that ! It's like that the HD500X asio driver disappear ?! .............But it still there ! Anyone have notice something like that ? I do not know if Cubase 8 come with Asio driver included, is that the case ?, because I have an other Asio driver installed, it called : AsioALL made by Michael Teppach !, Do i have to uninstalled it ? Is it serious at the point that puts my project in peril ... In VST Audio system (in V8) which Asio driver can make the case while waiting a fix without degrading the quality? I think it's not serious as much as this variax that i have ordered which had been used & dirties & soiled : 5 weeks of waiting for dust ! In 1989-1992 i worked hard to do great musical composition with : tascam 644, Atari 1040 ste, Korg M1, Ibanez Blazer 470, DSP256 ect ... & i stop everything in 1992 ! I still have all of my compositions in a box : K7 (audio) + floppy disk (midi) In 2014 i decide to recover everything that i have done in this time. But i needed new equipment.. so this summer i started the second phase of my project & this 22 years after. For me Variax was a great tool to creativity. So i ordered a jtv89f 5 weeks ago ! ***After 5 weeks of waiting***, I just received the line 6 variax jtv89f red blood... One hour before i received a call from my music store telling me that the variax was arrived. After 5 weeks I was excited ! November 20, I had asked my music store to order a brand new variax guitar directly from line 6... ( 5 WEEKS of WAITING ) ... I repeat : I had asked my music store to order a brand new variax guitar directly from line 6 Arrived at the music store, the salesman will look for the variax to me.. The variax is in its box, he asked me if i want to see the guitar, i said : OH YEAH ! The box is well sealed with the line 6 tapes. ***But inside the finding is terrifying : the flexibe black case is terribly dirty (A LOT) ( now i know it's not a brand new one) THE CASE HAS NO line 6 LOGO ...
