Hello, i have a Spider IV and even with mix level to 100%, i can hear the original pitch in higher notes, in lower notes works fine... is it normal?

Hello guys, i have a spider IV, and i wanted to use the pitch glide as a "drop tune" fx... i made some tests and even with "mix" parameter at 100%, i could hear the original pitch of the note that im playing, this happened with higher notes, with the lower notes the pitch glide seems to work fine. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks, and sorry for my poor english.
