  1. Here's a YouTube link instead of pictures.
  2. This was the solution for me. (See above link) It's a cable with a Female USB jack on one end and prepared leads (red and black) on the other. It has a smaller molded converter box in line with the cable that can fit nicely under a pedal board. Just solder or splice a pedal power plug onto the leads (make sure the black wire goes to the center of the plug, for the center negative convention) and you are done. I'm using it without problem on my Strymon Ojai. I tested it with a multimeter and it puts out exacted 5volts as advertised. I also compared the sound with a dedicated USB charger style power adapter and there was no difference. I'll try to post some pictures.

  4. My wifi has been ok. What wireless router are you using (will give an idea of bands in question). How close is the G10 transmitter to your router. Sometimes if you are really close you can pass signals in unintended frequencies. Basically this shouldn't happen and as I meantioned with the proximity I really doubt you would have a problem at the bar.
  5. I haven't noticed this behavior yet, but it seems like pretty bad design if that were the case. I will check it out, but first off are you sure that the G10 is inserted fully into the base? (Sorry for the level 1 question there). The reason I ask is that I was sure the Use of TSR would allow them to use T for signal and R for charging. There is no reason therefore to have a T connection in the base and theoretically you could then charge or supply power while playing if a guitar could be so equipped. (Could use a common S for ground, a constant DC bias to charge wouldn't affect a superimposed signal either. I'll check it out.
  6. In the guitar it will more reliably sleep if guitar volume is off. We can't always be at 10 accross the board. I'm not sure the deal with the base station, yesterday I unplugged the charger and it did seem to go to sleep. (That is what I want.). I think it was fully charged at the time I turned it off, so I wonder if that has anything to do with it. Irregardless, the behavior seems a bit erratic there. So I'm still not sure what to expect it to do. That nas for the comments guys. Keep em coming so we get to the bottom of this. Hopefuloy a voice of Line 6 will also chime in.
  7. It seems the G10 transmitter isn't smart enough to know when the base is unplugged. If you plug in the transmitter to the receiver and turn the power off to the base the transmitter does not go to sleep (like it does in a resting guitar). The transmitter will drain it's battery and you will find it dead when you go to plug into your guitar the next time. Is this how it's suppose to work? I'm a little surprised. Line 6 needs to fix this. Seems like an obvious features, or am I way off base here? I don't plan to keep the power on all the time... Thoughts?
  8. Ok. Now I have a tracking number. Let the sweetwater backorders be fulfilled! Cheers
  9. Lastest Sweetwater/Line6 arrival estimate has come and past. Again. Clearly there's an issue to be delayed this long. The question is it logistics or something else :0. Hopefully this is not anothe G70.
  10. Now sweetwater says the truck from line6 will be at their warehouse on 6/21. 3rd estimate I've gotten, so I'm not holding my breath.
  11. I agree with jws1982. You can make one yourself. A little testing on the charger is all that's required to know the voltage and charging location, although it's possible that it's not on the ring that's the most likely place. Also I would bet the overcharging limiter is on the plug side rather than the receiver side, but that would also be important to check to prevent damage and explosions.
  12. I actually prefer the USB option. I have a voodoo pedal power 2 plus which only has 8 plugs. I need those for my pedals! What I do have tons of is USB chargers and cable which I can stick into the power outlet on the voodoo. I suppose having both options would have been even better for the folks out there, just would add to the price I suppose. (Version 2?)
  13. Sweetwater tells me that my order will be fulfilled 6/17. I just missed a gig I was hoping to use it at...
  14. I guess US is last? Every major retailer here, guitar center, sweetwater, musicians friend, and Amazon, all are "waiting for stock". I placed my order months ago. What gives Line6?
