Is there some trick to do on the Stomp to get HX Edit to recognise a device? I've plugged in the USB and the computer sees the Stomp as a device, but HX Edit still says no device connected...

Ah ok sure, I'll try removing all my amp/cab/IR sims and just use a preamp sim

Hi guys, I mainly play my HX Stomp through my TC RH750 amp and 212 cab. I've been putting an amp, cab and IR blocks at the end of my patches. Do I not need to do this since I'm already playing through an amp? I can't decide what sounds better Or should I just use a bass preamp option on the Stomp? (I've never tried/used one before)

Hmm I didn't see them on the Stomp, seemed to be exactly as how it was before the update

Cheers, I wasn't looking to factory reset/get rid of all my presets, so I'm not fussed. I am intrigued with teh new Artists presets though, does anyone know if any of them are for bass? Won't bother downloading any of them if they're just for guitar

So after trying all the different USB ports and changing USB cables, it still didn't work... Then I tried it with my laptop just now and it's worked :') It's still got all my presets, I thought it was supposed to factory-reset it?

The Updater can't see the Stomp

Hi all, So my crappy computer disconnected the USB of the Stomp mid-3.0 update and now it's all messed up. HX Edit says the device is already at 3.0 so can't update again. How can I refresh the update?

Hi all, Am I doing something wrong? I've bought two of these, both from different sellers, and neither of them fit in the Stomp. I thought it was supposed to be 2.5mm? I have the same question except I want to access the tuner by long-pressing the tap switch I have plugged in as FS5 (currently set to scroll through pages)

Hi all, I've got a Mosky tap tempo switch plugged into the Stomp, set up to scroll through pages. I still have to bend down to press Action+Page to bring up the Tuner bypass (as I've configured FS3 to be an extra effect toggle). Do you know if there's any way to program the tap switch (in this case FS5) to bring up the tuner when long-pressed? I can set it to the Tuner option but then it loses the ability to scroll through pages... Thanks

Sorry to hijack this thread, does anyone know if I buy this MIDI Y-cable whether the Stomp can send MIDI out? I'd like it to be able to tell my 3XL what preset it is on https://www.disasterareaamps.com/shop/midi-y-cable

Thanks for the reply :) I've managed to get it to work. But it only works one way, i.e. if I make preset changes on the Stomp, it doesn't feed back to the 3XL. Is there any way to get this to work? Would a midi Y-cable do the trick?

Hi, Is it possible to use all 3 footswitches to enable/disable HX Stomp effects? At the moment, only two footswitches can be used, because the 3rd switch is taken up by tap tempo. Is it possible to unassign tap tempo from the 3rd footswitch? Thanks

Hi all, Apologies if this has been asked before, I just can't figure out how to get my Disaster Area DMC-3XL to control my HX Stomp. I want to use it to scroll through presets, so I can leave the Stomp on the effects screen so I can turn off individual effects within the preset. This is my setup: Also, is there any way to remove the tap tempo setting from the last switch, so I can use it for an effect?

Hi guys, Is there any way to level out the sound of the patches compared to the bypass sound? There's a big drop-off in volume whenever I hold down the right footswitch to bypass the effects, and I have to bend down to increase the volume. Then when I reactivate the effects, it's too loud so I have to turn it down. Is there any way to equalise it? Thanks
