  1. By first time, you mean on beat one? Yes. The helix has different metronome sounds you can choose from.
  2. I should also add that all my presets were fine except for that one. Helix worked fine until I dejected that preset, and I lost all output from then on. The trick is to select a different preset for Helix to load when you restart it once you lose the audio.
  3. You’re exporting from the setlist, which is just a reference to the real user preset. Go to the USER list and export from there. But that’s not an issue. Your misbehaving preset is. I hate same issue that I created a ticker for, and I’ve been chatting with support about it. They said that removing the cab block fixed it. I ended up rebuilding my preset from scratch on the stadium app, and it’s working fine now..
  4. Reset your helix to factory defaults (after update). of course, back up first, and restore after. A bug is a bug, but this might resolve it for you. You may have to redo from scratch what you had issues with. For instance, to get around the showcase audio issue, I had to delete my tracks and reimport them.
  5. Yes. That’s what I did: backup factory reset restore backup delete songs reimport kind of a pain but it’s still working for me!
  6. So even though this is an issue that they will fix, there might be a workaround. The support guy told me that doing a full reset and deleting and reloading the tracks. could help (he tried it himself). I did. And so far it has survived multiple off and on trip. We’ll see how long it lasts, but it’s a huge improvement.
  7. The issue was confirmed and reproduced by line 6 support. fingers crossed!
  8. Yes! Btw, you need to save the song on helix in order for your fists and all to be preserved. But regardless, I set it up and it was great! Then after turning off the helix, I get no sound from my song.
  9. I’ve observed that if you EDIT a preset while in a setlist, once you save, you’re back in the user’s presets “setlist”. not sure if it’s a bug or on purpose. But ultimately not a big deal for me.
  10. I opened a ticket and was told they couldn’t reproduce the issue… obviously, you guys can!
  11. Thanks. I did set the expression settings to global. No dice…
  12. These are all presets that wiorked on Helix, imported into Helix Stadium.
  13. This is probably really simple, but in a preset (all my presets) I have a volume block assigned to the pedal somewhere after the amp. In stadium, when I change to a snapshot for the first time, even though the volume pedal is all the way up, there is no sound. Until I move the pedal anyways, then it tracks it. I have a feeling I went through this on my OG helix, 8 years ago, but can’t find a setting for it. anyone?
  14. What’s wrong with the lone star for monitoring?
  15. I think the point is not to make every unit sound *exactly* the same, but rather, how easy (or even possible) is it to make a given model sound *good*. in fact, it doesn’t even matter that much if it nails the BE100. As long as it nails your tone soul ;) that being said, this was a very interesting experiment. Thanks Jon,
  16. And just to clarify, this is not a “request”. I don’t currently use snapshots, but as I try to streamline my setup, this is one question that popped up. I can definitely see cards where I have a few snapshots (clean/dirty for instance) and more than four effects I might want to toggle on and off manually, where some would apply more to one snapshot than others. there are many ways to know the cat; I was curious is this case was possible.
  17. I absolutely understand that. But since you can change what effects are active between snapshots, I thought maybe you could also change their FS assignment. As in, I’d like different stomboxes to be expose on the footswitches on different snapshots. Obviously, those foorswitches are all in the same presets.
  18. That’s what I thought, but I was keeping my fingers crossed :/ thanks!
  19. This is something I could try, but I figured I’d ask you awesome helixers. In the 4 stomp/4 snaps mode, can I assign different stompbox to a given footswitch per snapshot? For instance (super simplified) can i assign the first stompbox switch to an ID in snap 1, and the same to a delay in snap 2? Thanks in advance.
  20. I’m a brand new helix/headrush frfr user. It sounds to me like you’re thinking about this way too hard :). The FRFR speaker/amp are the best way to reproduce and deliver a modeler’s tone. It essentially, they’re no different than what your regular amp would do. So yes, you can use it just like an amp. All that matters is that you’re happy with the tone you’re getting. I gigged my helix last week with a crappy little “FRFR” speaker (I only got the headrush a day later alas), it was a small club that doesn’t mix and mix instruments in the PA, so I used it just like an amp. It worked super well. Connecting a FRFR speaker (or helix directly) to the FOH is really just a bonus. But it’s really the same thing as mic’ing the amp to the FOH. Except your tone is already going through an FRFR system so no need for mics or any other “conversion tool”.
  21. Sounds like an Amplifire Box. But it’s not part of the helix family.
  22. There are many variatons, but in this case: guitar > helix > helix 1/4 out into DSL effect loop return.
  23. I did the same :) i think it looks really cool as well.
