You can't just do panning in your DAW? This is easy to do in Cubase. You're probably not going to get what you want by trying to pan only using Helix Native....I guess you could use the Pan model in Helix Native, but doing that in your DAW would probably be easier.

Test your ears! PodXT or Tom Scholz (Rockman) Soloist?
aaron__aardvark replied to aaron__aardvark's topic in Line 6 Lounge
BrettManDude, Sorry I did not reply faster, I did not receive a notification of your reply. You are correct, the Tom Scholz (Rockman) Soloist was used on "Are Your There?" Congrats! :) pianoguyy, Thank you for replying also! -
I put two songs in my music website: "Sanctity", which is the song on top, and "Are You There?" is the next song down. One song uses the Tom Scholz Soloist (a version of the Rockman), and the other song uses the PodXT for guitar amp modeling. Can you tell which is which? Please tell me how you like the music, and how it can be improved. Here is my link: https://www.soundclick.com/artist/default.cfm?bandID=224436&content=songs

Test your ears! PodXT or AdrenaLinn? New Oct. 26th!
aaron__aardvark replied to aaron__aardvark's topic in Line 6 Lounge
OK, here are the answers: the low distortion guitar (with tremolo effect) that starts at 0:04 has AdrenaLinn amp model and effects, and the distorted guitar that starts at 0:47 is the PodXT. -
I forgot the name of it, though I was pleased with the Glenn DeLaune patch set with Smashing Pumpkins, Faith No More, Steve Miller, Stone Temple Pilots, and Ratt sounds.

I put a new song in my music website called "Very Jaded Point of View", it is the song on top. The first (low distortion) guitar you hear has panning tremolo effect; starts at 0:04. The other (distorted) guitar starts with the chorus at 0:47. One guitar has PodXT amp models and effects. The other guitar has AdrenaLinn amp models and effects. Can you tell which is which? Please tell me how you like the song and how it can be improved. Here is my link: https://www.soundclick.com/artist/default.cfm?bandID=224436

So, how reliable has the native been for you?
aaron__aardvark replied to AndyTheDude's topic in Helix Native
Based on my experience with a 10 year old iMac that I use for everything, I would never depend on a computer for a live performance (with or without Helix Native); though obviously a lot of people do. If I close any Helix Native gui before I shutdown my Cubase AI8, Helix Native has been quite reliable for me. -

Helix Native 1.8 idea/inquiry for new presets
aaron__aardvark replied to aaron__aardvark's topic in Helix Native
datacommando, Thank you for replying again! I only own Helix Native, and no other Helix product. I have since read the 1.8 Helix Native pilot's guide a bit. It is very nice we have the Undo and Redo function now. -
Helix Native 1.8 idea/inquiry for new presets
aaron__aardvark replied to aaron__aardvark's topic in Helix Native
datacommando, Thank you for replying! Yes, I read those instructions (regarding Helix Native 1.8 presets). Correct me if I'm wrong, though it is my understanding that I will lose all of my custom presets if I load all of the Helix Native 1.8 presets, yes? So my idea was: to somehow save the new presets (whether it is all of them, or a select few) to a User folder, and not lose the custom presets I already had. Perhaps Line 6, or some kind customer could load the unique-for-Helix-Native-1.8-presets to customtone, where I could copy them to a User folder. Since I have yet to read the 1.8 pilot's manual, I wonder if 1.8 is affected in regard to customtone. Thank you for the pilot's guide info! I will check it out soon.
