I have the dream rig, HD500 JTV59 DT25, and when it is all working right it can sound great. But way too often lately I seem to be having wierd issue with the DT25. For example, when I turn everything on the DT 25 sounds all "farty" or the whole patch is overdriven in a bassy way. Other times, I will turn it on and the patches from the HD500 won't register properly so I get a combination of all the effects in the HD5oo patch AND all the effects from the top of the DT25 mixed together. What am I doing wrong? Has anyone else had the same issue. Thanks.

Am looking to add a guitar synth to my Dream Rig, narrowed it down to a Fishman Triple Play or a Roland GR-55. Is anyone else doing this with a Variax? If so, what problems will I encounter, what is your experience etc? Thanks in advance.

JP Exact same thing happened to me except I got mine through ZZounds. They sent me a shipping lable to return the bad one, as soon as that label was scanned, theyshipped the replacement. Had it in 3 days, updated it and have never had a problem since...about a year. it is my number 1 gigging guitar. I would return it to GC, get your money back and go to ZZounds, they will fincance it for 8 payments at no interest. I have done that with my whole dream rig and am completely happy. My 2 cents :)

Just downloaded the file and will use it this afternoon to get ready for tonights practice. Brand new to the Dream Rig as of Wed when I got the DT 25. Just wanted to give my appreciation...thanks

Hey, Been using the HD500 for over a year now, and just completed the dream rig, which is great. Wondering if anyone can get either passable guitar tones for horn, synth, organ parts ? Apparently there is a dearth of keyboard plaers around these parts :lol: Thanks
