  1. Sounds logical. Thank you for the explanation.
  2. Hello, I had the same problem but solved it recently. With a mobius in loop 1 (block bypassed) you can still hear the sound of the modulation in the background, especially if th loop is placed before the dirt. But you can play with the mix parameter. So i've added a controller for the mix (0% when bypassed and 100% when active). This way you can either let the loop active all the time (just playing with the mix parameter) or combining it with the bypass/on (on the same button of course). When the mix is at zero, there is no noise at all... I thought the bypass should behave this way, but actually it's not the case. Hope it helps... Regards, Cyril
  3. Found it there : https://www.amazon.fr/gp/product/B01FWXL8LO/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Really easy to mount with screws. It is connected to a Y IEC cable under the board along with the Ojai, and to the power button...
  4. That's the good thing with the temple audio boards. They are delivered with a rail (ar least the wider ones) and you can order some more. It also comes with a bag (maybe as an option but there was a bag where i bought it). The only problem i had is that the holes on the board are a bit too small for the kind of midi plugs i used. So i had to remove a bit of plastic to go through (you can see it on the H9 picture).
  5. Thank you ;) Here are some links for the cables (in Europe but i guess you can find them in the USA too). There are different sizes of course. https://www.thomann.de/fr/one_control_midi_hammer_cable_50.htm https://www.thomann.de/fr/ebs_pg_58_flat_patch_cable_gold.htm The Strymon Ojai is quite small and powerful (5*500mA), but of course there's a power adaptor too...
  6. Hello! Here's my current board. Helix is a fantastic beast by itself, but it has those loops so i wanted to add a few thing keeping the board compact and clean... My plan was to add the Hog2 (which is pretty unique, impossible to match with the Helix), A Strymon Mobius (for Rotary, Autowah, Destoyer,...) and of course the relay G10. After hours of seach i discovered Temple Audio Design Board Duo 24, which has the perfect size for my needs. I had to find some very flat patch cables (not to mention Midi) and a special power cable because i wanted to start everything with a single button... Also i included a few options like these jacks on the side to plug the Hog2 controller (not used on stage, just for maintenance) and an additional expression pedal (if needed). I was really happy with the result (Helix controls everything perfectly), but a friend of mine proposed me a great great deal for an H9. Ok, i didn't needed it, but i thought a bit and decided i could install it below the board (it is controlled by the helix and set by my bluetooth PC, so i don't really need to see it!). I tried the installation and it works perfectly. As you can (maybe) see everything is powered by a strymon Ojai with a special cable for the H9 and a 5 to 9v converter for the G10. Special bonus : i use mainly this guitar with the Helix. It is a Skelter. Hand made by a french luthier. He makes guitars to your specs, with a mix of pallets and steel. The sound is awesome and the price is really cheap. Each guitar is unique due to the wood selection process. I advice you to take a look at this, because i feel Skelter might be famous in a few years... Time to play!
  7. My current (and very simple) setup. Just my Helix with an ASM-12 and my new awesome Skelter tele : killer tones. I've got a ton of gear at home. It's pretty useless now but i'm really happy because with this pretty straightforward rig i play a lot of music, instead of tweaking a lot...
  8. Could you try to open the template "4 tone switcher" (03D) and put an amp+cab in line 1, then 2, then 3, then 4 ? Is there a tonal difference? Is it muffled?
  9. Are you sure you are using an Amp (meaning the Amp Head without cab) and not the Preamp (which is not the complete Amp) ? Edit : sorry, i missed the fact you used the combo Amp+Cab. First : try to start from a new patch. I've experienced problems on a particular patch and they've been solved when i remade the patch from scratch. Use one of the template patches, cause your routing may explain the problem. Second : Try to separate the Amp and the Cab (just to chek if there is any difference).
  10. Hello again, A few more ideas. I must say that i really love my Helix, so if it stays like this, i will survive anyway ;) For the story : i used to have an afx which was controlled by a liquidfoot LF+12+ controller. I switched for a more convenient/compact solution and was really amazed by the quality of the sounds and UI (thank you Line6). That said, i have a few remarks. My main regret is about the switches : we've got 12 switches with a lot of good ideas, but technically, only 8 of them (10 in stomp mode) are really customizable for the "navigation stuff". I agree : 8/10 stomps is a lot (too much for me). On the other hands, 4 is a bit short if you're in a 4/4 setup. With the LF12+, you can assign each button (and color) to anything. Of course, it has a price : the complexity level is quite high and i don't think Line6 wants to complicate the UI that much (it wouldn't be such a great idea). But maybe there are "in between" solutions : Personally, i don't need the tap tempo, and also i could survive without the mode button. I would love to have the possibility to replace them (choice in the menu of course. I totally understand that a lot of people need the tap tempo and the mode) by something else. That would be another solution to achieve a 5/5 setup. Once again, i'm not complaining, if it stays like this, it's ok for me !
  11. Hello everyone, I use Snaps/Stomps and Preset Up Down. I don't know if it has been suggested yet (maybe there's an ideascale already), but it could be interesting (and maybe not so complicated) to have the same choice in the "Stomp Mode Switches menu" than in the "Preset Mode Switches". So, instead of just "8 stomps" or "10 stomps", adding things like "5 stomps/5 snaps" would give us more choices for the behavior of the mode button. By the way, Helix is a fantastic machine !
