  1. Have you noticed anything else strange since this happened? Have you come across a Cheshire Cat or a Queen of Hearts?
  2. Thanks for the info. I just ordered a SpaceStation to use with my keyboard based on your recommendation.
  3. Good information. thanks. I will take a look.
  4. Yes it does sound better. No question or ear tricks. I upgraded to 2.01 and my sounds went from robust to thin. I actually was very upset and hoping for a better update. Now 2.10 fixed the issue and my sounds are robust again. The new amps are fun as well.
  5. So I upgraded to the 2.10 firmware and on purpose I did NOT follow the update instructions. Then at precisely 1pm PST I jumped in my car and turned on the radio, with a beer in one hand and a slice of pizza in the other, and prepared to enjoy 2 hours of Death Metal Polka but to my disappointment it did not happen. Here is the direct line item from the update instructions: If a user fails to read and follow the update instructions, Helix will cause their car radio to only play polka death metal every Thursday from 1-3pm PST I expect an immediate refund for my Helix and a free Death Metal Polka CD. Thank you!
  6. Yes the Empower works but for the helix the cab sounds best when it is off at the full FRFR setting.
  7. Orange Dual Dark, Blackstar Artisan 100, ENGL Powerball 2, Diezel VH4.
  8. Mine too. I forgot on the internet one must be very specific. Let me restate... The Helix sounds (amps and effects, etc) are created by software algorithms embedded in dedicated memory chips (similar to a SSD hard drive.). Perhaps this software has bugs that they are working on correcting before mass production ramps up.
  9. They may have rushed it through development and now are finding a lot of bugs in the software. The Helix is basically just a big hard drive filled with software. Getting the software to work properly is the hard part.
