  1. HI -- not sure if your is the same as what happened to me.. but my LT was doing the same thing.... it was the bushings on the foot switch that were failing inside the helix. Have you lubed up the parts to the pedal lately? It's a big job but I do mine every few months cause my first Helix LT the foot switch mechanism broke on a gig :(
  2. I know this is an old post.. but I got a helix LT about 9 months ago and have been plugging into my Dr.Z Maz jr (which doesnt have effects loop) and was never happy with the helix. I pulled out my old Flextone II which has an effect return, plugged the Helix into that so Im basically using the flextone as my FRFR solution and BAM! Couldn't be Happier. Now I can actually hear what the amp models are supposed to sound like and they kick lollipop!! BTW... the tones on the old Flextone are still Killer!
  3. I've been struggling to get my tone outta the helix LT. Got one cause my keyboard player found an excellent deal on a used one so I got it. I was plugging into the front end of my Dr. Z Maz jr (*NO FX LOOP*). Read this post about using fx loops and the only amp I have with a loop is my old Line6 Flextone II (which by the way still sounds killer) SO... I plugged the helix into the return on my flextone and found out that the helix actually has some nice amp models LOL. So much better then going into the front of an amp... even using a totally Excellent amp like the Maz JR.
  4. I know this is old thread,, but I just had my LT replaced cause the expression pedal broke. It came with 2.30 so I first used the supplied USB cable and tried on my surface windows 10. Would not see the LT no matter what I did. Went to my MAC EL capitan and same thing. would not communicate. I finally got fed up and ran downstairs and pulled out an old USB cable and WHAMMO!!! damn thing worked like a charm and 2,8,1,1 installed. I STRONGLY encourage a shorter USB cable
