I want to get a killer clean sound (Fender 60's clean), light crunch sound (Stones) and heavy overdrive (Green Day/Blink 182). Are you guys using a clean amp and then adding pedals or are you using 3 amps and switching between them (is this even possible with the DSP). Thoughts?

Booted Mac into safe mode and managed to get it working

Repeated the process and she is back finally. What a day!!

Damn spoke too soon. The firmware installed but the device still won't start up.

Mike Thank you so much. I had exactly the same issue and Like 6 were going to pick it up tomorrow. Booting to safe mode allowed me to bring it back to life. Thank you!!!!

Thanks, I tried that but it still fails. I called Line 6 and they told me to send it in for service! I was having issues losing the USB connectivity before I did the update as well. Didn't have a problem before though!

I keep losing connection to the Helix app so I tried to update the firmware but it says ' error while installing update' and the Helix says please reboot and try again. Please help!

I dragged the split and merge down and it did create a totally new path big of course it also removed what I had before. To be clear my existing patch as two lines and the bottom line has two paths (the second for a dirty amp). I want to create another path under all of this for my microphone.

I would like to add a two button looper to the top level. Rec/Overdub and Stop/Erase. Does any one know if this is possible already?
