  1. I use L2T+DT25+HD500X+JTV69: With the HD500 you can switch between the DT25(electric guitar) and the L2T(acoustic guitar) or use it simultaniously like I do. Therefore you have to use the L6-connection between HD500 and the DT25/L2T. L2T must be the last in line. In electric guitar mode I mute the L2T, because I use the power-amp-mode (not studio direct) in the HD500. In acoustic guitar mode I switch off the amp-sim in the HD500. That means the DT25 uses Channel B. Here I use the clean Fender-Bassman-topology for channel B (front panel) In the pa I mix the two signals (DT25 and L2T DI-Out) together. L2T 70% and DT25 30% It's the best acoustic sound, I ever had. Some month ago I heart a fantastic acoustic blues guitarplayer and he had the ultimate acoustic guitar sound over the pa. I talked too him about his guitar rig and he used a microphone for acoustic sound and a fender tweed amp for pickup sound. Both signals were mixed at the pa and the sound was incredible good.
  2. "No Sound issue" I use a hd500x with two dt25 (Stereo) Since i use the hd500x via l6 link I get the same no sound problem. That means only one of my dt25 amps is working, the other is mute. When i press the Patch Button again, both amps are working. What Could be the reason?
  3. I had to raise the patch volume settings up to 3dB of the tele and the strat models in workbench 2.0 to get the same 1.9 gain level in the hd500. That means the 0dB level of 2.0 is not 0dB of the 1.9 firmware. Can you confirm this ?
  4. I think the new HD PU's work more like in the real world. That means a single coil pu has less gain as a humbucker pu. In 1.9 there were less "dynamic" between the models. Could anybody confirm this? I have only one JTV69 and I cannot compare it. Is it possible to clip the variax output, when I adjust the patch level to e.g. 6dB ?
  5. Hello I used some tele and strat models in my HD500 patches in 1.9 before. After the 2.0 upgrade I recognized, that the same new models have less input gain. That means I have to adjust the variax patch levels up to 3dB or more to get the same input gain (distortion) in my HD500. Do you made all the same experience or should I reflash my variax to solve the gain problem. Thank you.

  7. I had several live feedback situations, where the FBS was not working at all. e.g. acoustic guitar feedback. I also made several tests to examine the feedback problem and its algorythm. For me it seems that the signal level of the input channel has a big influence, if FBS is working correctly or not. My opinion: If the signal is too hot, then the FBS has problems to detect the feedback frequency. Try to lower the input gain of the channel and repeat your test. For me the FBS system is not usable in live situations, because you cannot be sure that your input signal is always in the right condition for the FBS system. Therfore I do not use the stagescape FBS anymore. Instead I use the SABINE feedback system without a problem.
  8. Before you play your outside festival you should test the pedal in sunlight. You can use the pedal as a wah-fx. Here you can watch the pedal value (0 - 100%) in the pod display. In my case without sunlight the value goes from 0 to 100 according to the pedal position. But with sunlight the 0% pedal value increases up to 70%, when the pedal is in zero position. I will build a flexible cover for the pedal to avoid a nightmare on stage. You can also use a monitor wedge as a sunshield cover, but be careful, the position of the sun is changing.
  9. Hi I made some investigations about the pod hd pedal problem, when it is used in direct sunlight. The digital value of the pedal is changing acording to the light, which shines into the sensor. This makes the pedal function useless and can disturb your live performance if you don't know it. My question: Is there a practicable solution to avoid the problem ? Does Line6 know this problem ? Is there a workaround provided by Line6. I know it 's allways the best to avoid direct sunlight, but in real life there are often situations where you cannot avoid it. e.g. sunlight in the evening, sunlight from side, flash light and so on. This is a serious problem and I hope to get some information about it Thanks.
  10. Thank you dboomer I wanted to know if I could avoid an external mic preamp, but for my usage,I will need one. I found a very interesting and affordable dual mic preamp: Rolls MX34C http://www.rolls.com/product.php?pid=MX34c I've installed it and it worked as I intended.
  11. I used the ART SplitComPro, which has an isolated microphone xlr input/output. But this solved not my problem. http://artproaudio.com/artcessories/audio_solutions/product/splitcompro/ I'm an engineer in electronics and after my tests I don't think that the hum is coming thru the cable. I think it's an emc trouble between the M20d and the V35 receiver. One additional note: I use the wifi airport express router in the 5GHz mode. Both products (V35, M20d) are from Line6 Is it possible that you install the same configuration and make an performance test From my side I send back the v35 system. Thanks for your support.
  12. They are plugged at the same power socket. I made also tests with a di-box and ground-lift. When I lift the ground of the XLR cable, the humming is getting much louder. Are there any additional hints what I can do to solve the problem.
  13. I want to use Rode NT4 stereo microphone at the aux-input jack. The NT4 has an internal phantom powersupply. The Rode kit includes 2 cable sets. One with standard XLR-connectors and one with the mini stereo trs connector. It would be very practical, if I could use the trim function to adjust the gain of the input signal. These would extend the functionality of the M20d to 18 equal working hardware inputs.
  14. Hello I want to use the Line6 wireless microphon system XD-V35 together with the M20d mixer. When I plug in the microphon cable of the XD-V35 receiver into the microphone input of the M20d, I get some kind of noise and hum audible in the output channels of the M20d. This hum is audible as a background noise. I made several tests with different cables. Even when the wireless microphone is off, the hum signal remains. The hum signal changes the level when I work in the stagescape menu. That means when I open the record menu, the hum is getting less and when I go into the perform menu it rises. I made a test with another analog mixer. Here I can hear no hum and the signal is clean. Does anybody use a XD-V35 together with the Stagescape? Any experiences ? Thanks for help !
  15. Thanks for your answer I want to use the stereo aux input jack(beside the L6-Output), but it seems that there is no trim option awailable for it in the M20d software. If I want to use the inputs for low level signal sources, then I have to use additional gear (e.g. a pre-amp) Is the missing trim function a hardware restriction of the input jack or could it be added by a firmware update in future ? It would be a great advantage if we could use the trim option also for the aux input jack. Thanks for help
  16. Hello I want to use the aux input(beside the L6 output), but I cannot adjust the trim of the input. Is there a reason why there is no trim control or is it a bug and can be solved in the future firmware update ? Thanks for help.
