Hello! Ty in advance for any/all help!!! Here’s my setup/gear: Yamaha Stagepass, Scarlett 4i4 (3rd gen) iOS Camera kit, BeatBuddy “BB,” (with midi sync cables) and of course my Line6 Helix (Floor unit) I have an iPad Pro (with camera kit for iPhone, and the single usb connector for iPad Pro) Beat Buddy (with foot switch & midi cables) and of course the Floor Helix (full version, not LT or anything) It’s very true about the Helix looper being basic AF, but very nice solution by assigning more than one looper! With that in mind, how should you route your signal flow so it goes from helix, to BB since Apple changed the port type again? Would it go: Guitar>Helix>BB>Mixer>Scarlett 4i4>Camera Kit and still sync up the looper and the BB? Or should I just use send/returns combined with MIDI in/out then just run Helix out to the mixer? * (Not Using any DAW’s) * -
how does the same preset sound with 5 different guitars? with my beloved Line6 Helix and the trusted Line6 Shuriken Variax I used my custom preset "Kiss City" to show the differences that can be obtained simply by changing the guitar and pick up. When buying a preset it is essential to have as reference the type of guitar used to create it, in order to have an optimal result with your instrumentation -
Hey fellow musicians! Well, the question is kinda simple. Can I/how do I make the Digitakt trigger the Line6 Helix’s looper to start and stop via MIDI? If it is possible please explain it to me in details as I am pretty new to the MIDI world and really have a hard time understanding all the CC messages and so on… Note: I already have my Digitakt sending MIDI cloc, so that the Line6 Helix’s tempo is in sync - I just need it to make a loop that fits(starts and ends) perfectly in grid. Hi, Warner Music just released my first song. I used the Helix for the guitar sound and as the sound-cart. I've been a Line6 user for many years, got a lot of gear from them and I just love it.
