PeterJH
Hi guys, I finally got around to uploading my JCM800 patch. If anyone can tell me how to edit the info on Customtone, I'd really appreciate it. Cheers, Peter.

radatats
Thanks for the link but how do I enter info into the categories? Just click on the line you want to change and the edit box will open. the comments block has a little grab spot on the lower right corner to open it up. hit enter to save. PeterJH
Nope, tried clicking but nothing happens. No edit box, no grab spot. Tried with Google Chrome and Internet Explorer. Any other ideas? Cheers.

radatats
This is what you should see if you are logged in and at your tone. As you see here it says "click to edit"... Even if you are logged in on another page or the forums you may need to log in again on Customtone to edit your tone.
Brazzy
I just tried to see if CustomTone edit works and it does for the HD500 patches but not my GX or UX2 patches although I can make sure I can edit them before uploading since the GearBox has the options. I didn't really realize that, lol. Thanks for getting me to check again radatats.
grandinq
I downloaded this and was trying it through my DT25. I changed the cab to Blackbird 30 and it sounded great. I thought it was interesting that you kept the gain on the amp low and added more gain from the Tube Drive.
PeterJH
With a real JCM800 I always used to use a pedal in front of it to get that really tight, focused distortion. The best pedal that I found to get me there was the MI Audio Crunchbox. Unfortunately the Crunchbox isn't in the HD500 but I've found that the Tube Drive gets me fairly close. I've found that if you crank the gain on the JCM800 itself, the distortion can get a bit "flabby" in the low registers. By keeping the gain on the amp low and using the stompbox it does retain the tightness. Cheers.
