BlueViolince
Can I send one MIDI pc command into the M5, and have it send out another pc command? For example, it receives pc 001, and sends out pc 084.

BlueViolince
Would it be able to send pc when a preset is selected with the footswitch?
silverhead
Check out the M5 Pilot's Guide (page 8 - section titled MIDI Control). http://line6.com/data/6/0a06434d12155507f39d011ad3/application/pdf/M5%20Pilot%27s%20Handbook%20-%20English%20(%20Rev%20B%20).pdf
baanengn
The M5 doesn't have a MIDI thru, so I made a MIDI output "Y" cable to connect to control two devices. In my case an M5 and a VOX tone lab. To note, a lot of MIDI output chips are an HCT14 capable of 25ma or an AHCT14 good for 16ma. Worst case single channel load seems to be about 8ma, so generally I would say a single "Y" cable on the output of the controller device is fine, and probably no more than that. Also the M5 has an HCT14 so you could only output a single "Y" cable from the M5. It would be interesting to see if an expression pedal input on the M5 would generate MIDI CC data on the M5 MIDI output connector.
