adagosto
Hi. Can someone tell me if the POD HD Desktop is capable of simultaneously recording a guitar AND XLR vocal microphone and record them to individual tracks on the recording software? Thank you! Ed_Saxman
Of course. It is stereo, so it´s able to record 2 mono channels. You may need to create a separate path for each input.
silverhead
Here is an HD500 preset designed for exactly that. http://line6.com/customtone/tone/215659/ You can customize each path independently (e.g. Set the guitar path for electric guitar); just keep the preset structure the same. In your DAW, arm two tracks for recording. Select the HD500 L output as the input source for one track and the R output for the other. adagosto
Ok. This is great. But here's an even dumber question. Does the HD Desktop have an AUX input for an MP3? I honestly don't see one shown in the manual. I am trying to figure out if I want a HD Desktop or get an Amplifi TT along with the Studio UX2. It seems that the HD Desktop can do it all but if it does not have an AUX input, that'll be a downer. Thanks!
silverhead
You are correct. The Pod HD desktop has no cd/MP3 input. It has one guitar and one mic input.
