River_Man
Hi guys, I'm trying to use the UX2 to play some Youtube karaoke videos while singing. The problem is that I can't change the pitch of the song; this is a feature enabled in many other sound cards. For example, Realtek drivers allow to do it as you can see in this video: I can't believe that in the UX2 there's no way to do this, being our software and hardware way more advanced than the cheaper home desktop usual sound cards. Or maybe I'm wrong and there's a way to do it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
TheRealZap
sorry... not part of what the UX2 does... you'll just need to use other software... the ux2 will work with lots of software. i dont do what you're trying to do so i have no recommendations.. but i'm sure it exists. phil_m
There's all sorts of free software out there that will do it. I actually don't know how useful it is tied into the actual drivers. Seems like one of those things you'd change and then forget you've changed it.
Triryche
Notice they don't demo the pitch change? Probably because it is not usable for what you are trying to do. Changing the key of recorded music is no easy feat. Now if it were MIDI, that would be a different story.
