hiphopBB00
Hello, i have a problem with dry signal recording with podhd500. I use podhd500 as audio interface, i record my dry guitar tone by disable all processes in podhd500 and by switch to tunner mode. After hear 2 sound demo, i find that dry tone by "tunner mode" sound more cleaner than by "disable all processes". I wonder which is really dry signal... Or anyone can show me a good way to record dry signal with podhd500 as audio interface?
duncann
You could use the spdif output from the pod if you also have some way of getting that signal to your computer. There is an option in the system menu to change the output of the spdif; one of them is dry output.

duncann
Just had a listen on a 500X between the guitar signal with tuner engaged, a blank patch (no processing), the spdif dry output, and usb. They all sound identical to me. So unless I'm missing something, those are really the only ways to get a dry signal to your computer. What exactly are the differences you are hearing?
