Triryche
Looks interesting, but I wonder if it would damage the neck.
duncann
Looks like a neat idea, but they are a bit vague on their website as how they're attached. Is it some sort of adhesive? String pressure? Another idea might be a standard straight clamp with six adjustable 'clamps' up or down two or three frets. The method of attachment to the neck might have to be kind of elaborate through. psarkissian
Looks interesting, but I wonder if it would damage the neck. I would want a closer look at one of those,... the only concern from my POV would be whether those would scratch the fret-board or wear on the strings over time. Like having a capo for individual strings,... interesting.
Triryche
Can you imagine all the extra extraneous vibrations that would add to JTV modeling?? Yikes!!! :o A Tube Screamer with everything dimed should mellow it out though!!

There used to be a "spider capo" or something like that, but IIRC it didn't have the intervallic spacing between the strings. The PITA factor looks suspect. Neat idea though. :)
duncann
http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/SpiderCapo I suppose you could use more than one of these to achieve intervals.
