Route 2 Separate Volume Signals for Live Use like Axe FX? FOH and Stage Cab

So maybe you guys can help with this. With my band I'm running a Helix through a Friedman ASM-12 cab. Typically I have my master knob set at 2:00 to get a good amount of stage volume and send another XLR line to FOH for them. Last couple of shows the sound engineer had me lower my volume sent to them to about 9:30 which resulted in very low stage volume through the Friedman. Does anyone know if the headphones seperate volume knob send the same type or amount of volume? That way I could have 2 seperate signals: one as much as I want for the Friedman and the other for FOH as much or little as they need.  Axe Fx has this solution with 2 separate volume knobs for sending to FOH and stage volume of cab or FRFR.

Thanks!

On page 3 of the Global Settings menu, you can select what the master volume knob on the Helix controls. In your case, it would probably be best to have it only control the 1/4" outs and not the XLR outs. That way you're just always sending a constant signal from the XLR outs to the board. Any volume adjustments you make would only affect your monitor, not the FOH signal.

Thanks!  This info may be very helpful to me as well.  So if you disable the master volume output to the board so that it always receives a constant signal regardless of changes to monitor output, what determines, or how do you control/set what the level of that "constant" signal to the board is the first place?   Does the disabled output control automatically default to a suitable/proper, or unity, gain for the sound-man's purpose?

The volume of your preset will still affect the volume of the signal going to the XLR outs. So you'll still want your presets to be volume-matched as close as possible. Also if you have a volume pedal effect in your patch, it will still affect the XLR outs. The only thing you're doing is removing the Helix's master volume knob from the chain going to the FOH.
