Mk ii shortboard compatibility?

In the same vein as the OP, but will the original FBV shortboard or Longboard work with the Firehawk?  I have both from my Vetta II rig, and I'd hate to spend money on an MKII, especially with the FBV 3 coming out in April.

On that note.....why one earth wouldn't L6 release the Firehawk and FBV 3 simulataneously?!?!?!  Since the FBV 3 seems to be an integral part of the Firehawk setup, particularly for the "gigging guitarist", I think they dropped the ball on not releasing the amp and pedal at the same time.

Now that I have been messing with my new fh1500 and mkii shortboard a lot. The one thing I would like to see work is the looper function. I can assign it to a upper row fx switch. I can also make it record and stop. But the other functions of the looper is where I get into the looper of death. There is no way I can erase the loop. If you try what the regular Firehawk manual says by doing two quick switchs or I've read that one longer Push and hold to erase, it just starts to play back shorter and shorter parts of the loop. Then I have to turn off fh1500 and reset my app to get out of the death spiral. Hope the new fbv3 interfaces better?

So the Vetta II long board with the two foot controllers will work with the FH1500 ?

Any answer on this? I doubt it will work. It would be nice that Vetta II long board has 2 expression peddles vrs adding a pricey mission engineering or the plastic line 6 expression peddle.
