spikey
This may be old news to some so sry if thats the case. FYI I can't save stomp box settings (yet) by right clicking them and saving them to a name i like, but what I can do is save the settings on a stomp I have tweaked and like (on an existing patch) (wah distortion etc), and then copy that stomp and paste it to a "new preset" slot. Then just save this as your stomp template using any "template name" you like. You can then export this "stomp template" and save it for use later. Simple stuff but it seems to work... :D
silverhead
Yup - simple and useful. I do this for many FX at a time in a single preset. I never use the preset as an actual preset/tone - it's nothing more than a personal library of favourite FX and preferred default settings. Same thing with amps and cabs. Copy and paste into any preset-under-construction as desired.
zooey
Really wish you could save named presets for individual amp, cabs, and effects
jasdadgad
Really wish you could save named presets for individual amp, cabs, and effects Why can't you? Just shove your favorites into a preset - or into a bunch of presets - and save them???
zooey
Sorry I wasn't clearer. I mean a preset for one amp, cab, or effect, recallable separately, without leaving the patch you're in. So while you're editing a preset, you can insert a block from a saved amp preset, or apply those settings to an existing block. It'd also be great if you could save default settings for each item, so inserting it gets you your custom version, not the factory one. Amplitube lets you save presets for individual amps, cabs, and effects, as well as whole pedal boards (each preset has two), rack effects (again two per preset), etc. Applying them is as simple as choosing from a right-click menu. You can't set the defaults though.
