johnonguitar
Started mucking around with the Dual Pitch block to see if I could replace my Chorus block to free up some space. I think it sounds pretty good. I like the Chorus block but this has just the right enough of "dirt" to make it a little more fun. With snapshots I know have my modulation and octaver taking up one block. Wonder if there's anything else I can make it do. Ps. Dual Pitch, octave up, octave below and a Rotary 145 gives a great organ sound :)

He has some most entertaining and informative videos as well. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCpJrfCxQmio6zyjut4n0qRw
malhavok
Micro (cents or fractions thereof) pitch shifting is a great alternative to chorus. This is because part of generating chorus effect is micro-pitch-shifting. The main difference is a chorus continuously changes the amount of pitch shift being applied while the pitch blocks will only give a static shift. That's not bad, it's just a difference in operation. A delay with modulated time is scary similar algorithm to chorus. That's why modulated delays sound so much like a chorus has been applied. Modulating a delay line also changes pitch of the delay line which is the same thing happening in a chorus.
duncann
I use the dual pitch block all the time for a nice wide sounding tone; Interval 2 to +4 cents, and delay 2 to 2.0ms. Sounds great and really nothing to complain about.

An additional plus to using this method is there is no need to use the split and merge for one of the paths.
