buckd22
So, as I understand it, installing the Line 6 Updater 1.1 should also install the latest version of the editor. It's not working. I'm running El Capitan and I've deleted off the old version of the updater and the Helix Editor. I was able to update the Helix to 2.1 but I'm not getting an editor installed. I'm sure this is user error...but how do I get the Helix editor installed? Thanks, Chris
Digital_Igloo
The editor is installed separately.

buckd22
This is where it breaks down for me: http://line6.com/software/ I can't find the Helix Editor amongst the drop down menus. It seems to infinitely loop me back to the same page. I'm sure I'm doing something wrong...
markus506
Just select 'Helix' in the far left, then your OS in the far right dropdown. Hit 'Go' and the editor should be the first item that pops up. Scroll down and 'get download' will download the file for you.

phil_m
Sounds like you're downloading the actual flash file for the firmware, and not the installer package for the editor. The OS X installer package for the editor (just called "Helix", btw) is here: http://line6.com/getrelease?rid=7277&uid=416571
