Drum riffs on Spider V60 amp

Recommended Posts

Dumb question- My amp seems to have only one drum loop. Is there a way to make a custom drum loop or modify the existing one? I can adjust the tempo, but that is it. Thanks for your help!

Hey there,

Spider V is loaded with a variety of different styles of pre-recorded drum tracks.

Lets try the following steps to access all the drum loops:

1. Press the PLAY/PAUSE BUTTON to enter the Playback Screen.

2. Turn the ROTARY KNOB to scroll to the icon on the left and press

to change it to the Musical Notes icon.

3. Use the ROTARY KNOB to highlight the Drum Loop parameters to select which groove will be played, and control its volume.

4. Press the PLAY/PAUSE BUTTON to start and stop the Drum Loops.

Please let us know if you have any further questions

Thank you!

Confusing but what the manual doesn't say is that you actually push the rotary button in.

Great amp

I'm obviously missing something. How do you adjust the Tempo?

You can't. Not yet. I have seen a request at Ideascale for tempo adjust.

There are are no additional drum beats/loops at this time with Spider V. But if you have other software or sources for drum loops you can play them thru Spider V via the aux or USB in and still get great reproduction with the speaker+tweeter combo.

This may be a dumb question. But I was trying to get the new drum loops from line 6 website for spider V on my iPhone. It’s not working, do I need flash? (Which doesn’t work on iPhone$

Currently you are not able to download any new drum loops to Spider V. You can always play drums loops from your iPhone onto Spider V using the Aux in or USB.

It is not possible to add more riffs. Spider V comes loaded with 4 demo riffs in various styles. The volume of the demo riff cannot be changed. The overall volume is controlled by the amp model, start by turning down the volume on the amp model.

To change from demo riff to a metronome or drum beat: Use the rotary scroll knob to select icon on the left portion of the screen, then press the rotary scroll knob to switch between demo riff, metronome, and drum tracks.
