maorgr
Hello, I was wondering if the Firehawk plays nicely with non line6 applications such as guitar rig . etc and also with various DAWS such as reaper .. Right now I run the follwoing config : guitar -->Audient ID22 ---> DAW (PC) , guitar rig --> old monitor speaker.. Plus, I was wondering if I could connect the FH to the Audient OUTPUT in order to preserve my presets and just use it as a PA.. Also Can I use other IR's with this FRFR ? thanks in advance M. talwilkins
I'm sure you can but I haven't tried anything like that. As far as I can tell, the Firehawk can amplify anything through the monitor in. And since it FRFR it should all sound great!
maorgr
Thanks for your reply. I bought the unit today, I'll explore it for a bit and ask questions if it's alright. thank you.
richiecat
You can connect the ouput from your Audient interface to the firehawk 1500's aux in to use it as a P.A. However using the built in guitar amps and effects in the firehawk sounds really good (in my opinion) and you get the advantage of wet/dry/wet output from the firehawk 1500's 6 way speaker system. Using the left/right aux inputs will just give a stereo output... It is also possible to connect the firehawk directly to your PC using a USB cable which give audio in/out for recording and playback in your DAW. spikey
You could just use the monitor left and right ins on back the FH1500 from your audio interface, and then play thru the amp for guitar work.
