Sergioedem
Hi, guys! My name is Sergio. I'd like to know how I can record direct sound from my guitar using POD HD 500X so that I can give it to the studio, well, the point is I don't need a recorded distortion (I can do it) and I don't need just a clean sound. I want to hear my playing distorted, but I need the recording clean (so to say direct input). I looked at the settings and set up s/pdif output as dry inputs. But nothing changed unfortunately. What shall I do? Thanks!
pianoguyy
Why not use a splitter (a Y cable), so that your studio gets a signal that isn't being drained by the an unused object. -- which is why I know guys who use a one foot cord in the studio. They want the purest tone possible. Using the Pod, you could set up a left and right path. Set one as dry, and send it to the studio. Set the other wet, and send it to yourself.
silverhead
Here's preset designed for recording a wet and dry signal simultaneously into two separate tracks. http://line6.com/customtone/tone/2784034/
