Increasing the size of scribble strips

Is there a way to increase the size of the scribble strips?  I don't need the 01A and the name.  Just the name.

Nope... In Preset Mode, while displaying presets the preset number will be displayed. If you're displaying a snapshot, the camera icon will be there. Only in Stomp Mode can you use all the characters. Personally, I think it's nice to have the visual cues to remind you what mode you're in.

No, but removing the number doesn't automatically make the other text larger. I'd have to create an all new font and the one that's already there is optimized to fit 16 characters on a 128x32-pixel LCD. We tested legibility with those in the building claiming to have the worst vision.

I agree you need decent visual cues but there is more than one way to achieve that. I still think the camera icons on snapshots need to have an option. The icon uses up six scribble strip characters.  That is a loss of 40% of the available name space. Easy enough to reverse the background, change the font, indicate a snapshot with less characters, or whatever alternate method Line6 comes up with.
