lennyhope
I am new to this. I have a UX2 and a Sony Stereo mic using the two inputs at the front of the UX2. When the UX2 is connected to the PC via the USB there is a signal coming through from the PC to the UX2. However, the microphone is not making any of the needles move and registering a sound at all. I want to record through Audacity. Do I need any other software or to make the mic work and record onto Audacity?
psarkissian
Gear Box or POD Farm. Should've come with the UX2.
Triryche
Run the Line6 Monkey to make sure your drivers are up to date. You can configure the UX2 inputs with either POD Farm’s mixer view or Line6 Audio MIDI control panel. If this is a POD Studio (black faced) you should have POD Farm 2. You should be using Line6 ASIO drivers, so you may want to check Audacity’s wiki on compiling Audacity to support ASIO or try a different DAW. mrmeadta
So the UX2 is not compatible with Audacity?
Triryche
So the UX2 is not compatible with Audacity? I wouldn't say that, there are many users successfully using a UX2 with Audacity. IMHO the most proper way would be to compile it to support ASIO, but there are other workarounds.
