DanishMic
Hello, New to the forum and just got the Helix this pm. I had the Axe/Fx Mark II and still have the AX8. But wanted to try out the Helix due to the fantastic Interface. I am missing the option to correct stuff on the spot. AN option I do not believe I really have with the AX8. Tried out the Helix a few times before going for it. Been playing and tweeking for a few hours now and I dig it. VERY easy to navigate and getting preset up and running. Only used the Helix User Interface / it just works very well. On the AX8 i NEVER used to tweek the device - only the computer interface. Love the Helix so far and still playing and having fun. You can get good tones out of this box.... Keep Rocking..... Danish Mic
specracer986
Glad you like it. It will grow on you as you get good at tweaking presets and creating the exact tone you have in your head. There's some things I find are actually easier to do on the unit than through the software.
spikey
Wellcome. Many here are Axe FX II converts including me. That's not saying I didn't like Fractal products or Kemper, cause I do. Hard choices were made and so far (overall) I'm liking the outcome.
DanishMic
I like it as well. Done a few clean tones / presets yesterday and are now trying Crunch and Lead tones.
jbuhajla
they all create fantastic tones, but the Helix interface is fantastic. My 10 year old daughter can navigate it with ease. Sometimes I just play and then tell her what to change and she does it on the fly for me.
DanishMic
I do agree. The interface makes you want to create. Unreal easy and intuitive. Way ahead others.
