Helix through a 15" FRFR?

Just wondering. Anyone using the Helix with a 15" FRFR speaker, and does it work well? Is there too much bottom end that can't be effectively dialed out? I've searched quite a bit and can't really find anything on the subject. I know everyone recommends 10" or 12", but there's a sale right now where the 15" version of a speaker I'm looking at is actually cheaper than it's 10" brother. For guitar, should I stay away from the 15"?

The Specific speaker is the Yorkville YX15p. I had read a recommendation, maybe here or somewhere else, that the Yorkville yx10p was a good choice for the Helix, but I haven't seen it on sale since.

I used to use my PA system which has two yorkville nx750s and there have15" speakers. They have a bass cut on the back which I used when I finally got my subs. It sounded great but I wanted a rig for living playing and now I just run it into my Firehawk 1500 and my DT50. Hope that helps.

I use a 15" PA cabinet as my main (Alto TS215), but I also play synth and occasional bass guitar so I need the available low range.  I can EQ it to the sound I want, balancing the main and compression drivers.  That being said, I also have a pair of 10" two way wedges as my WDW outboards, but they were cheap and available so I couldn't say no.  I ran just the 15" for a long time though.
