DelDrago
hello everyone! My JTV-59's quarter inch output jack cuts to half output unless I wiggle my cord. The replacement module looks like an easy drop in install...anyone done this?
psarkissian
Yes. You will have to pull a lot of stuff out to fish the cable thru. I know what's involved, I work on these all day long. Not something to be done by an end user. Have an authorized tech do it.
eenymason
hello everyone! My JTV-59's quarter inch output jack cuts to half output unless I wiggle my cord. The replacement module looks like an easy drop in install...anyone done this? Clearly, if the Vax is still under warranty, do the done thing, and get Line 6 to fix it. ;) If not, as long as you take care with it, it IS an easy modular replacement part to change. I find it's probably best to take the rear cover off, to give you access to where the leads connect to the onboard PCB, and disconnect from there, thus making sure you don't stress the leads/connections by simply trying to pull them through the output Jack hole. Look away psarkissian - nothing to see here!
