jerseyboy Posted November 7, 2017 Share Posted November 7, 2017 Is it just my unit or do other users notice the pedal friction adjustment to be very stiff out of the box? Mine was so tight/stiff I was afraid something might break down inside? I loosened it up a bit and everything seems to be smooth and functioning well. line-6-user Posted November 7, 2017 Share Posted November 7, 2017 My helix's pedal is also quite stiff when used with the foot and have considered loosing the nut a bit, like you, I want to know if this is standard and best for the device or it's better to loosen it. jbuhajla Posted November 7, 2017 Share Posted November 7, 2017 You may find that loosening it a bit will help prevent deflection of the main housing and make your expression pedal sweep perform much better. Some people experience not getting a full sweep of 100% or that it backs off 1-2% when they let their foot off.
