hardins1
If I make a splitter for my VDI cable and run one to my HD500 and the other one to my HDpro x. can I make a patch on the Hd500 with lets say a strat guitar and a patch on the HDpro x with lets say a les paul guitar and play them both at the same time? Charlie_Watt
I would just run the VDI to one and the 1/4 inch to the other.
hardins1
That would work too. But will I be able to play two different JTV69 guitars at the same time one saved on the HD500 and the other saved on the HDpro x?
arislaf
No! It doesn't matter how you will connect, you can run 1 guitar at a time, or in 1 unit 2 gutars ( a modeled and the magnets)
Charlie_Watt
The JTV can only play one model at a time. I am not sure what would happen if you tried to do a "Y" VDI connection but I wouldn't try it. You can output the Mags separately from the models and have them go through the two pod channels. Be aware that you can't have alternate tunings on the mags so you can't use alternate tunings with mags and models.
ext1jdh
The VDI is a digital connection. The variax processing occurs within the variax guitar, not in the outboard processor. If you split your cable, you'll just end up with a useless y cable.
phil_m
The JTV is pretty magical, but not this magical... :)
