Pod HD500x Expression Pedal Problem

I have a PODhd500x. My expression pedal doesn't function.

 

I have rested global settings.

I have updated firmware and flash memory.

I have calibrated the pedal and pedal calibration says 'F'.

 

What could be wrong and someone please tell how to fix it?

I live in a place where there are no service centres close by. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

I've finished calibration and it goes from 0 to 255 (Heel to Toe). That means the pedal works.

 

In the patches I've double checked that the pedal is assigned to toe switch.

 

I'm getting no response from the expression pedal then.

I've done that too. I made a new patch with just volume and wah. Assigned Exp1 and Exp 2. Assigned expression toe switch for both. Still nothing.

Okay now I've just kept volume pedal. Assigned to exp 1

Toe switch assigned

My pedal has been calibrated.

Red light is on

No volume difference when I move the pedal

When you add a volume block, it automatically assigns the volume parameter to EXP2. If you change that to EXP1 and assigned the toe switch to the volume block, engaging EXP1 might actually turn off the volume block rendering the pedal useless. 

 

Here is what I suggest.... it's made to just "work" without any changes when adding a volume block - so let it do the work.

1. Remove the Wah block if it isn't already
2. Remove the volume block 
3. NOW > Add a Volume block and don't fiddle with any exp settings or toe switch settings. Just add the volume block. 
4. TEST. In EXP2 position, the volume pedal should work.
