forasong
looking for a way to route my all mono guitar path to two identical outputs on the stomp. one for my FRFF stage monitor and the identical signal to go to FOH. don't have any blocks left to create a send/return scenario. with out this block ,is there a way to get what i am looking for other than just using the pass through output on the back of my Alto312 to feed my mono signal it receives to FOH ?......thanks. gunpointmetal
If you have a fully-mono signal chain, the Left and Right main outputs are putting out the exact same signal if you connect both of them. If you're running any stereo FX, then they'll be different, but if you wanna run the whole chain in mono, there's no need to add any stereo FX to the chain anyways.
codamedia
The above post is 100% if you truly have a MONO signal. Send one side to FOH, send the other side to your cabinet. The other option is how I used to do it with my HD500.... a direct box. Left out to the DI, continue that signal 1/4" to your FRFR cabinet, and send the XLR from the DI to the FOH. I actually prefer this method over the first as the left will collapse to mono in the event you actually do have something stereo in your path. It's more of a guarantee the FOH is getting the exact same signal.

If you're running in mono there's really no reason to use a stereo effect in the chain, but yes, the L/Mono output used on its own will collapse the signal to mono. Depending on FX or settings you may run into some phasing issues, though.
forasong
thanks, i have a full mono path, so it makes sense that Land R would be identical....also agree on the DI, id just rather be in charge of that and let FOH take and xlr out of my radial
cheekybeermonk
When using the HX Stomp Main Output Left —> DI box , DI box thru —> FRFR, DI box XLR output —> FOH , what are you setting the HX Stomp main output level to ? Instrument or Line ? i have the Headrush 112 and currently my HX Stomp output is set to Line, the Stomp is connected to the Headrush with a TS cable Are you using a passive DI box ? Thanks
