websters
always had all Line 6 products, And the pod X3 always used the tone 1 and 2 each with different sounds and when passing from one to the other, the delays were not interrupted. How can I do the same in the Pod HD500x? Tks
joel_brown
Is your question: Is there a way to allow delay trails when switching from one patch to another ?

silverhead
I don't think that's the question... Or, if it is, it does not follow from the X3 Tone1 and Tone2 illustration. The hd500x analogy to the X3 would be Path A and Path B. In both cases, the delay trails continue if you 'switch' tones/paths within the same preset. Also in both cases the delay trails do not continue when you switch presets. The behaviour in both devices is the same. ... So to answer the OP, to maintain delay trails within the preset, use the setup menu to set the delay trails feature ON. That way, when you switch an FX off while remaining in the preset the delay trail will continue. But, like the X3, if you switch presets the delay trails will stop.
